Bono moments

Im looking for moments in live versions of songs when Bono amazings things like hit a note in a very high key, amazing falsettos....can be just one line in a song or longer, here are some examples:

Mysterious Ways(1992-06-15 - East Rtuherford)
In the end of this version Bono screams out a falsetto, something I never heard him do before.

SYCMIOYO(2005-10-03 - Boston)
Bono holds the sing note in 8 sec!

WGRYWD(2006-12-09 - Hawaii)
Bono hit the "don't you look back")

Hearing "L'amooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooore....." in November was pretty great. But I was to busy leaning right back and singing into my air mike to watch :wink:

Yeah, him hitting "L'amore" on Miss Sarajevo has been one of the highlights of the tour vocally.

He hit the "Man" note on Kite much better during the fifth leg of the Vertigo Tour than he had before.

Yes, I agree that was incredible! A definite highlight of the show.....and Mike ( I think that's his name) running back down the b ramp jumping up and down, that was perfect!

That's the best version ever on that song, that show is Bono's peak in his voice, SBS is incredible from that performence, the JT versions are weak compare to that one. Pride is mad on that show:

Also the 2003-02-21 Night And Day, in the end of the song he sing Niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight. That is realy amazing.

Also there is an unoffical soundboard version of Popmart Mexico where you can hear Bono's voice much higher, and the part:
"Say it's true, it's true...
And we can break through
Though torn in two
We can be one."

How about the snippet of Highway to Hell from one of the Sydney gigs? It's really an impressive performance, Bono sounds so unnatural here, my friend had a hard time believing that it's really him!

Also I love the "L'amore"... I think it's one of the greatest Bono moments from the past few years....

I think that the best version of NYD in terms of Bono's voice is version from Inglewood, California 1986-06-06 but I can't find any good audio recording of this.

I thought the "L'Amore" he hit in Portland 12-19-05 was outstanding. I was there, and it was amazing. I like it better than any other version I've heard yet.

I like that one. Bono sings the last verse very quietly, until in a very cool way he just screams the last line:

Whenever I see someone in their 40s for the first time in a while, and notice they have put on a fair amount of weight in the last few years, I call it a "Bono Moment".

If they're stretching while in a swimsuit, that's a called a "Double Deluxe Bono Moment".

Thanks for this! Lovely version of the song. Though I've got to admit, my favorite part of listening to Miss Sarajevo bootlegs is hearing the audience's reaction to the opera part. I can hear several "wow"s and an "Oh my God!" in this one. :wink:

The hairs on my arms and neck still stand up when i think of him hitting the opera note from Miss Sarj and im a 'maaaaaaaan' from kite. omg. Moments i shall remember for ever!
