The B-man co-wrote a song for Mick Jagger's new solo album called Joy. It's excellent. The album got 5 stars in Rolling Stone too. (Classic rating) Check it out.

BTW, sorry if this is old news...

Mick went to the U2 tour hotel, that's what it said. Bono and Mick recorded in a room that didn't look like a studio. Mick said Bono did a good job and was finished with his part. Bono had on his black button up shirt and he was squeezing his sleeves. He had his backwards cammo hat and blue glasses. Then Bono treated Mick to dinner. All I saw was a very small salad, I hope that was only the first course, it didn't look like enough to fill them up. Bono asked Mick something about songwriting and the Beatles. Then they went to the airport and Bono got into his black Mercedes and Mick got checked with a wand before getting on his plane. Sounds like a good album.

I'm pretty sure the album received 4 stars from RS. Nevertheless, it was a great review and the song "Joy" is wonderful.

That "Being Mick" special was pretty cool. He doesn't have a bad life, eh?

My mom called me and said "Quick! Bono is on channel 7 with Mick Jagger!" lol.

But I only caught the last minute or two.

I knew that it was going to be on, so I was sitting in my room taping it. Mom was watching TV in the living room, and she channel surfed to it and screamed, "Katie!!!! Bono's on TV!!!!"

I already know, Mom...*lol*

Apparently the luck of the Irish didn't rub off on Mick. Even with Bono's help, I heard that Jagger's new album only sold 940 copies on the day of its release. Ouch, and I bet those were mostly U2 fans.

I read that too-ouch indeed! I just bought the CD when I went out to get the free U2 CD.

And that song 'Joy' actually made me feel JOY-amazing when you're having a totally depressing day.
