Ok, what is your favorite part I and part II of a film series? Now think about this, don't just write Star Wars and The Empire Strikes back.

Here's my fav-Terminator I and II

It's rare to find a sequel with as much punch as the prequel and T2 was just as good as the first one. Good stuff here.

Anybody else?

Ack...I'm not much of a movie buff...hmmm...

I'll have to think about it some more.

The fact that Ivan chose a movie he hasn't seen is definite proof that he is a gentleman and a scholar.

hey i think that the return of the jedi was so much better than the empire strikes back... i really dont like episode 5 as much as all the other. its not an actual movie its just...in the middle

OK, growing up, I watched Man From Snowy River and Return to Snowy River approx. 100 times and they are nostalgic favorites but now, I'd have to agree with the olive about Toy Story 1 & 2. They are wonderful movies!

Everything was supposed to be the same: commercials, Beethoven's late quartets, pop records, shopfronts, Freud, multi-coloured hair. Greatness, comparison, value, depth: gone, gone, gone. Godfather 1 and 2 provide for a lopsided contest.....in Don Corleone's faver, I might add.

Nope. The entire "Three Colours" trilogy (France, 1994-95) is far more brilliant. But it depends on the kinds of films you like I guess. These two series of films are definitely on the opposite ends of the spectrum.
