Just got in from the Toronto show.. holy shit. amazing

So I guess it was ok to see them for the first time in a festival setting?

Indeed on both counts.

My main concern was that gates opened at 4pm. I assumed that meant the band would be playing in the sunshine, which blows. But they didnt end up going on till 8:45, so it was nearly dark by then. I was also worried that the sound might be shitty outdoors, but all that was put to rest the moment the first song started. Probably one of the best sounding shows I've ever heard. Really quite an awesome concert. I got a cool poster too.

It's weird how some bands have no problem whatsoever getting their sound right for outdoor shows, and other bands sound like complete crapola.

Glad it was a good show, I guess, or something, and stuff.

Shit. Arcade Fire tickets and Grinderman tickets both go on sale at 10 am Friday morning. And there's only one computer in the house right now. I think I'll try AF first: smaller venue, bigger band.

I know the non-u2.com presales don't get you GAs, but I'm assuming that's not the case for every band/concert.
