there was one for Pop I know in Oxford Circus in HMV, dunno about this one, there is one in Dublin though..

Erm I raised this a while ago in gatherings and about a month ago I phoned up HMV and the guy I spoke too thought I must be mental.
I haven't been to HMV on Oxford Street for a while but I'm in Central London next week for the football so I might try again then in person.
I don't think the person I spoke to was very senior and the situatution may change especially given the interest in the single(even those know nothings at Radio 1 have decided to play it).
I thought it was a cast iron certainty because (although I didn't go) they even had one for the Boston DVD.

Yes I know that HMV on Grafton St is doing one on the Thursday I just wondered if there would be any being held in other cities. We went to Newcastle for the Boston DVD and was in Dublin for the Best of.

I haven't checked and I know the album has already been released but it wasn't exactly unexpected.
I am pretty sure we will all still want the special edition etc (I certainly do)

For all you Dubliners... I work at the HMV on Grafton St, and from what I hear it's the only one (HMV store) in Dublin doing the midnight release.
Apparently we're getting the giant ZooTV heads in for it.
