Ed Sheeran breaks the 360 record

260 shows?!?! Holy hell. I find that more impressive than breaking a record unadjusted for inflation. Also took him twice as many shows to get to that number. But still very impressive. He must have hit nearly every major city!

Always Forever Now is the best U2 song that hasn't been played live

Good list. I wish they'd just break out at least a couple of these out for a show or two next tour.

    30 years ago today, I became a U2 fan

Awesome story! I always love hearing stories like this. Really interesting to hear different people's experiences. For me, it's impossible to pinpoint an exact date that I became a fan. I grew up listening to them and liked them a lot throughout my whole childhood. (ATYCLB and HTDAAB are...

Berlin #2 "Make-Up Show" Setlist Thread

Wow, the end of an era. I'm very curious as to what the future holds. The band definitely deserves a break for at least a little while!

    Dublin #4 Setlist Thread

Wow, the setlist really has changed over time. It sort of became the Zoo TV tour in the middle lol. There's about eight songs in this setlist that weren't played at my show, so it would've been really cool if I had been at this one, too. But that would have been totally impossible based off of...

    Dublin #3 Setlist Thread

Wow, they actually played Dirty Day? Good on them. I always like to see bands take risks in the setlist. Keeping it safe is boring!

    Belfast #1 Setlist Thread

The Fly, Stay, then Wild Horses? I might've cried if I got those three songs in Philly, even more so if they were played consecutively like that! It's a shame Wild Horses didn't stay in the American setlist, but at least it came back and seems to be staying.

    U2-related movie mistake

Jim Carrey (mis)quoted TTTYAATW? That's pretty interesting. Any idea when the interview was? Oh, and the punctuation would work like this: "There’s a great line from a U2 song that says 'a woman needs a man like a fish needs a basketball.' "

Right? Glad to see someone else agrees!

    War is 35!

All three of those songs would be great to hear performed. I don't think they have ever played The Refugee live. Underrated song. Hell, this album has a few underrated tracks. Red Light, Seconds...

Whos gonna ride your wild horses

I hope they play it during the tour. Love that song!

    Pop and ATYCLB vinyl reissues

They better not! I prefer the album version of every song on Pop, by a long shot.

*Rumor* - Larry to retire after E+I tour

I've read the sentence "Larry's not on board," so many times over the years that I can't even take it seriously anymore... ?

*Rumor* - Larry to retire after E+I tour

All I can say is that it is important to consider that every tour could potentially be their last. I'm only 18 and TJT 30 was my first U2 show, so I'm hoping that they last a little while longer so I can see them three or four times in total before they are done. That said, unless one of the...

    New Game

Well, it's my second favorite song on the album. So 10 songs are. Though keep in mind that AB is my second favorite U2 album, so I love all of the songs. WGRYWH, The Fly, UTEOTW, One, etc are all amazing songs. I've always loved how chill TTTYAATW is. It's so relaxing to listen to and is a...

    Early Song Rankings

But I like the song! It might grow on me a lot as time goes by. I've had my least favorite song on an album become one of my favorites as time went by. It's just the least interesting to me as of my first three listens.

    New Game

Agreed. But that's one of my favs on AB and most people seem to consider it the least good song! At least most people aren't saying the song is bad. ? I just find it interesting that there seems to be a lot of agreement about what is the least good song for both AB and JT (as well as a few...

    U2 albums ranked - deadspin

I like it, too. It's one of my lesser-favorite U2 songs but it's still fun for me to listen to. It's not perfect, but it's a good anthem.
