Yes! They are insured, House is Alarmed & Connected to a call centre/Police & I have 4 CCTV Cameras!!! My Rack is set up so I can send the signal to either the Marshall or the AC30 or both! Most U2 Stuff I used to just run the AC30 but lately I am running it together with the Marshall aswell...

    Korg SDD-3000 questions

Dare I say it - I have two Chris! I've owned my early 1968 JMP50 Plexi head for a fair few years now which Simon has allready serviced & I have just picked up a late 1968 Plexi Super Bass 100 head which is what Kossoff was famous for using! Alot smoother for guitar than the 1959 SLP but not that...

    Korg SDD-3000 questions

Hi Chris My SDD3000 was in a right state when I got it:drool: It worked badley for 1 day & then died!! A fellow guitarist friend of mine has is own business Godden & Curtis is Sherborne Dorset UK & he is unbelievable when it comes to electronics & excels when it comes to guitar related gear! He...

    Korg SDD-3000 questions

The last 2 that I have seen on ebay sold for over £500 - They are not easy to come by & unless they have been serviced expect problems as they are full of capacitors that will have leaked with age! Slemmons in the U.S. is the master at serviceing & bringing these units back to life! If you are...

    Post your rigs!

The difference between the 2 is vast! They both have that Tele sound but the 54 is much more responsive which I guess is down to the light weight Ash body & thin Nitro body finish compared to the Paisley which I think is basewood & then coverd in Poly! All my 50's/60's vintage guitars have...

    Post your rigs!

I used to have loads of room in my house! But my girlfriend moved in with me a year ago & 5 months ago she gave birth to our beutiful little boy (Sean Finley)! So now my guitars & amps are banished to just one room & the storage unit 6 miles away! Any other spare space in the house is taken up...

    Post your rigs!

Far one is a USA 1977, Middle is a Japanese ST72 & the one with the white pickguard is actually a parts guitar consisting of a 1979 Anniversary neck on a 2004 Eric Johnson body with 1982 hardware & CS 69 pickups. I also have a black USA 1979 Start in storage that needs a refret.

Thanks! Thats a Japanese JV57 from 1984 that I have owned since 1985! It was the first real Fender guitar that I ever owned & its almost been through as many changes as Gilmore's!! I've sold it twice & bought it back! It had refelx active humbuckers fitted in the late 80's & a Kahler Fulcrum...

    Boss FA1

Hi Does anyone have any info on what the Edge is using the Boss FA1 pedal for & how long he has been using it? I read on some other forum that Dallas Schoo says that he kicks it in for boost on songs such as Pride (intro harmonics & solo). Does anyone here us this pedal or one of the clones? &...

    Fractal Audio "AXE-FX-2"

Just got my SDD 3000 back & its all fixed & working perfectly!!! Just before I took it to the engineer it died completley & I really feared the worst! After a complete re-cap, battery change & broken traces repaired on the power supply pcb all was good. If your in the UK or Europe & need a SDD...

    Fractal Audio "AXE-FX-2"

Well took the SDD 3000's top off today & every single cap has either leaked or bulged & some have even blackned around the main board! Power supply board is even worse & the battery has seriously leaked all over, I guess this all explains why my SDD has been palying up so much! Lucky for me...

    Fractal Audio "AXE-FX-2"

I must admit to prefering the SDD 2000 aswell Chris! After paying a premium to get an SDD 3000 I found that I am just using it for the preamp!! & my unit does have issues which are going to cost me to fix! I have emailed Dave about getting an SDD pedal after hearing the real thing in the SDD...

    Reverb type?

I used to use the Hall Reverbs for my U2 patches but have found that I now get better results with the Plate settings. I used to use a Lexicon MPX1 for Reverbs but have found now that I get just as good results with the Reverbs in the Axe Fx Ultra. I'm sure the Line 6 M9 has some great Reverbs...

    Fractal Audio "AXE-FX-2"

Hi Chris, Yes the TC2290 is a crucial part of the set up for me, Not only because its a fantastic delay but because of those 5 switching loops! I believe that the Edge actually runs his SDD3000's into the loop of the TC2290 so to be able to control the volume of it as its quite a kick with the...

    Edge's guitar h.r.c. New york

There is mention on the Gear Shultz forum that Edge's late 70's Black Stratocaster was either given to The Hard Rock Cafe or the Rock and Roll Museum in Ohio? The poster couldn't remember which one it was! Strange how no pictures of it in either have surfaced on the net? Surley if it was there...

    Edge's guitar h.r.c. New york

I don't actually know if the HRC ever actually got one of Edge's guitars! He's not known for parting with them! He apparentley still misses the 75 Les Paul Custom that he gave up for the Music Rising Auction. I think the guitar you may be refering two is in fact Bono's black Fender Lead II which...

    Edge's guitar h.r.c. New york

I can only assume that Edge retired his 79 Strat before Dallas started working for him as I have never heard of it ever being mentioned by him.
