    It's GA "line" shenanigan time!

I feel this is on venue/U2 .. forcing me to have all 8 people be there with me at once is ridiculous. If I could xfer tickets, no issue. When I bought tickets I had never heard of CC entry only, and warning about it didnt come up until after I purchased the tickets. (usually at that point...

    It's GA "line" shenanigan time!

What sucks about CC entry is, I have to save 3 spots for my group to go in with me (getting there 4-5 hours after I am, and one of them in a wheelchair) They would just get in line where/when they arrive, but CC entry is going to force groups to be together.

Concert day again for me here in P-town. Rose Festival is going on, and down at waterfront park tonight, we get to see the Crazy 8's (popular portland group from 80's), and Cherry Poppin Daddies. Going with Jess, the gal I went to the Seattle U2 show with.

We need a good video of Lenny doing "Come and Get it", that song COMPLETELY rocked the house! I was dancing to that entire first song.

There I am, in yellow baseball cap. Really we were about 3 deep right here, but by the time people shuffled around more, we were 2nd row when the show started. (Jessica the gal I was with, is in the red next to me) We both knew people would move around, so we carefully just inched more...

I could barely feel my legs as we started making our way out of the stadium, and my knee is in horrible shape tonight. Finally get to see a orthopedic doc early tuesday morning. But, I would repeat the whole thing again, bum leg or not.

Makes me want to submit to them a proposal for hiring me to do that kind of a job. Better than being stuck in a cube.

So my experience started 4 weeks ago, knowing the concert was coming, but didnt want to pay outrageous prices for GA tickets. (they were going for $125-150 a month ago) I knew there would be a bubble coming, and it did. I was able to snag my single ticket for $60 off CL. Now it was time to...

Letdown has not happened for me yet, I am still wired. Entire thing feels like it was a dream, but it wasnt! Met a lot of great people, and would have to say that day ranks right up there with one of the best days I have ever had, and I have been lucky to do a lot of cool things in my life.

Security was probably running over to assist me in 2nd row inside, as I had a douchenozzle pour half a pint of whiskey down my back after he started talking *%&# to the girl I was with. Too all the restraint in the world for me not to tackle/punch this guy, as I knew I would probably not be at...

I have no case of the "mondays" today, I am still glowing from all the fun had on saturday. This may very well be the longest "post concert emotional hangover" ever.

Standing in 2nd row down there, and seeing the mirror ball lighting up stadium, along with everyone holding up their phones, was unreal. Actually almost brought a tear of joy to my eyes as it was so much to take in at one time. Sensory overload for eyes and ears. Amazing!

    Seattle, WA Setlist Party

I should have spoken up a couple of times, but we were far enough forward that I knew it wouldnt effect our getting close to the stage. People though were in pairs, and then at 2-3 pm 3-4 of their friends would show up and hop into the line. Most of this happening behind me though so I didnt...

I agree, we were about 350th or so in line, and I have to commend the staff at Qwest for doing an amazing job considering the situation. They did very well keeping us informed timewise what was happening outside. About 12:30pm, they started walking down telling everyone to try to make a...

Pride is actually my #1 favorite song from U2, and was totally hyped when I heard the first few strings coming from Edge.

I am still in absolute amazement on how good of a time I had. Was so awesome to meet some of you, which I have to say is one good reason I had fun, it just added to the sensation of the whole thing.
