You know, the Streets strat. I was watching the Paris Joshua Tree show and they did a super-closeup during WOWY, and they didn't look like standard Strat single coils. Are they blade pickups? Then again it was a quick glimpse.

Does anybody know how his Roland drums were recorded for the songs they are featured on? Were they recorded via direct input, or were his monitors miked? Does anybody do that? That also applies to synths I suppose. Do people always record those DI, or does anybody ever mic the monitors?

Does Edge do this? Because I've read that the plinking sound in Zoo Station is him plucking the D string behind the bridge, but when I do that on my Les Paul, it doesn't sound remotely similar, not even close to the same pitch. So that makes me wonder if he top-wraps his LP strings.
