    Crowded House to reform!

Perhaps I wasn't clear enough or you misunderstood me greenlight7-11. I know this news is 100% official from the head of the fan club but I'm merely stating that for some strange reason, the media here in Australia who LOVE Crowded House to bits, have not picked up on this fact and reported it...

    Crowded House to reform!

Yep, I know it was announced by that website back then. We're still waiting on an official statement from the record company. I'm VERY surprised that the media in Australia haven't run with this information but I guess they're playing by the rules this time. Time will tell....information tends...

    Crowded House to reform!

A few weeks have passed......and a decision HAS been made regarding the new Crowded House drummer. :bonodrum: I, and perhaps a few others here, know who it is - but I don't think I should publically name him until the official announcement is made. Let's just hope and pray that the...

ROBBIE WILLIAMS' sold out Australian Tour 2006

Well, as always, each to their own! :) I certainly would NOT have called Robbie's show 'crap' and have not heard anybody who went, say that either. Sometimes comments like that can stem from a person's position within the stadium and the resultant (lack of) sound quality. That is one of the...

    Crowded House to reform!

I totally agree. Couldn't have put it better myself. Paul actually left Crowded House almost two and a half years before they broke up and only rejoined for the final show at the Sydney Opera House (which also raised money for the Sydney Children's Hospital). Granted, opinions will be divided...

    Crowded House to reform!

It's official! Crowded House are reforming for a new album and tour! www.news.ninemsn.com.au/article.aspx?id=181405 I've been a Crowded House fan for over 20 years and NEVER thought I'd see this day.   :combust: I thought I'd resent this reunion but I honestly don't...

crowded house - farewell to the world dvd

This DVD has been a VERY long time coming considering the VHS version came out in 1996. They were plagued by technical issues, then personal tragedy and decided it would be best to release the DVD on the 10th Anniversary. It has so been worth the long and painful wait. There's just so many...

Pic request: Bono and Peter Garrett

I met Peter when he pulled up in a stationwagon backstage at a Finn Brother's gig back in December 2005. He was very friendly and yes, e-x-t-r-e-m-e-l-y tall! It's great to know he keeps such good company! :D

    u2 to play London 9th June 2007!

I just found this..... http://www.u2.com/news/index.php?mode=full&news_id=2091 ....looks like they're saying it's definitely a scam. Or could they just be covering their tracks? Here's hoping that there is an element of truth for those of you who have bought tickets....if not, :shame...

Melbourne I...the greatest night of my life.

It was a fantastic night and I'm so glad it was the best night of your life COBL_04! It's so good to be able to re-read those amazing memories! I went to both Melbourne shows but I'd have to say that the 19 -11-06 show was even better. :reject: Unexpectedly, the crowd seemed so much more...

Rod Laver or Vodafone for Melbourne?

It was called the National Tennis Centre all those years ago...and yep, U2 did several shows there during the Lovetown tour. I saw Split Enz there recently but I'd have to say that Melbourne's Telstra Dome suited U2 so much more...just my humble opinion though!

crowded house - farewell to the world dvd

That ARIA footage is the most emotionally distressing vision I have ever seen. I actually flew to Sydney just to be in the same room as Neil that night because I knew it would be something very special. How he managed to get through that emotional performance defies comprehension... As a result...

crowded house - farewell to the world dvd

I've never actually thought of that clip as sad. I'm a long time Paul Hester fan and while there have been many sad moments since his passing, this particular clip reminds me of the amazing energy, humour and talent he possessed. Admittedly, I've had this footage for ten years so I'm sure if I...

crowded house - farewell to the world dvd

Ahhh yes...it really is. The fluffed lines, the laughter, those harmonies......PERFECT! I'd always wondered where "in our little brown constellation" had originated from in Italian Plastic. Now we know it was from the middle part of Sister Madly where Paul makes a reference to 'ice-cream' ...

crowded house - farewell to the world dvd

I've been a Crowdies fan forever, so I rushed out and got the DVD and CD on the day they came out. ;) Come to think of it, I tried several different shops before I finally tracked down a copy and then raced off to queue up for U2!! Seriously. I was just so glad to have the entire show (almost)...

What a great topic! :applaud: Extremely difficult to limit choices but my absolute favourites include: Like a rhythm unbroken, Like drums in the night, Like sweet soul music, Like sunlight, I need your love I see the purple of her eyes, The scarlet of my lies I don't believe that Rock...

ROBBIE WILLIAMS' sold out Australian Tour 2006

I was lucky enough to see Robbie's first show in Melbourne! :D I'm so glad I decided to go GA as I ended up about ten rows to the right of the B stage much to my surprise! :camera: :combust: He's such an amazing performer, a real natural. He provided total entertainment which...

YAAAAAY!!! Wooo HOOOO! :dancing: Absolutely FANTASTIC news! Well overdue it would seem. We all know he deserves it....and there's a certain ring to (the unofficial) 'sir' Bono... I'm quite sure it'll catch on!
