Another interesting thing to note is that out of all the artists I saw on that hot ac chart, U2s the only one who has 40 plus years on them. That’s a feat in itself imo that they can still chart with the currents. Hell most those acts were not even around during ATYCLB era...

It would be a smart move to start playing it at the start of the leg, but if the Sept 8th rumor is true than they may wait until after that....or they may drop the single on itunes a week earlier before the 1st show and the song hit radio on the 8th...

If and a big IF this is true I could see them still releasing a double single (blackout/best thing) similar to what a lot of artists do to test the waters with new material. I am confident we will at least get that this year and still am in the 2017 album release crowd.

I don't think this is s false alarm this time. Videos are shot, press listening parties are done, and the band are finally saying "this year". Sept is going to be fun!

if the last week of august is nothing but tumbleweed I'd worry...at least about the single. They should at least by than hype that something is going on and coming.

I'm still holding out for this year , but if we get nothing in between the US and UK legs in July, than its prolly looking more 2018. If we get nothing in September or October than its def looking 2018.

As a fan of EDM, my biggest problem with the Kygo remix is that it's very basic EDM. Granted it was a live recording but imo it doesn't stick out even in the EDM genre. The chorus is catchy enough I'll give it that.
