I don't wear leather nor fur... and I didn't even before I watched all this. This is another video about Indian leather. If you watch till the end, you see cows are beind decapitated with knifes being being skilled as slaughtery is not permitted in India...

I was asking myself the same question after seeing this... The only different would be that cows are being skinned instead of furry animals. If in the meat industry some cows get cut in pieces alive because they've not being knocked hard enough, I guess it can be done for leather too, yes.
