OMG The pictures of Eve in the purple dress?? Hello! Cover of the "October" album ring a bell? She looks just like Bono did around that age! She has his eyes. Eve is to Bono as Lisa Marie is to Elvis. They couldn't look more alike!

He always reminded me so much of Stephan Jenkins of Third Eye Blind in the Pop era. The third pic is a prime example.

While I agree that ATYCLB is uplifting period, especially in winter, ( I also am wearing the disc out now) the album has always reminded me of spring due to it's beauty and optimism. Funny thing is here is Alabama it's practically humid so it's like listening to a spring album, during winter but...

I have to agree. I always though ATYCLB was way better. HTDAAB just doesn't do it for me like ATYCLB does. Hate to say it but it seems a bit generic..still U2 half-assing it packs more meaning and depth than 90 percent of music out there on the radio.

Amen. In a Little While is one of my fave songs--EVER. Man got SOULLLL!!! It's so sexy.

It's my fave album, the one that got me into them in the first place. If I were to give any album to a person who wanted to know their sound this one would be it--it's intimate, soulful, beautiful, honest, and hopeful, full of hope. During the era of boy bands it really saved me musically:wink:

I have a feeling that what I'm about to say won't be very popular but i hope they go sort of the route of ATYCLB in terms of raw emotion--they weren't trying to be cool and rockin, but they were in not trying. To me that album is effortless. THe album has been accused of being too soft but you...

Everlasting lOve--It's so slow and sexy. ALso Unchained Melody and I've never heard it but Knocking on Heaven's Door had to sound perfect on them.

Bono definitely looks just like his mother...same nose eyes, dark hair. There is a picture of her in the Unforgetable Fire book sitting at a table with Bono's dad when they were young. She was really pretty, of course. He looks just like her.
