They said U2 sent them the album early and they had been listening to it. Would be crazy if they were the source of a leak.

That's exactly what it is - they play clips of the songs and everything before the album has dropped. Don't think any other outlet has been granted this kind of access, it's great!

Always thought it was weird how they keep bringing this one out when Invisible was actually great.

Yeah I'm still not the biggest fan of American Soul, but it is a lot better within the context of the album.

Hmmmm, mixed feelings. Love the verses, but it feels to retread Volcano like that to me (even though I love that part also). The lyrics are inert, refujesus is probably one of the worst U2 lyrics.

Excited to hear the new songs, but the titles are pretty bad. Also weird that Ordinary Love mix is on there as a bonus track.

I think it would have been really cool song in this style (Bono's lower register, acoustic), I'm just not sure that this is the best song for that kind of style. Feels at odds with the poppy nature of the song.

Dunno if I like it, looks very very similar to the Pop cover. I feel like it's more likely to be the image they showed at the recent shows.

If the rumors of a December album release are true, then it feels kinda early to release 2 singles.

I like it - but man this would've been better in the summer.

Geeeeez if the "kygo remix" version is the single to be released on Tuesday then Interference will have a meltdown. It would make sense that they would hedge their bets by releasing The Blackout as their "rock single" though.
