    September 29, 2009, Fedex Field

I was there last night, my sixth U2 show. Probably in the top 3 in terms of how the band actually sounded. Bono's voice sounded good to me, which at this point I am always worried about. The crowd was very late arriving. When they turned the lights on after Muse, there were still probably...

If you had to pick two from each album...

I'd really really really love to hear Lemon live. But I doubt Bono can even sing it anymore, so maybe it doesn't matter.

So What Song Has Grown On You The Most?

Crazy Tonight. So many reviews hated on it, but the more and more I've listened to the album, I've really started to enjoy it.

    What's your favorite U2 Tour?

Gotta be Popmart. Though Elevation was good as well, but more because I was in the second row. Popmart blew me away.

    Technically speaking

The lyrics were part of what carried Pop, and made it such a returnable album, even years later. The lyrics are also why I haven't returned to 2/3rd of Bomb since 2006. For all the discussion of innovation, experimentation and growth, this is one area where bono seems to not try anymore

Best Song Survivor: Late 1980s Quarter Final Round V

i'll be sad to see Heartland go some of bono's better vocal work

    Technically speaking

yea... the early 90s voice is gone and never coming back, but I think in the last few years maybe bono's learned how to take a little bit better care of himself his voice sounded pretty bad on HTDMAAB, although in parts that made it more powerful

Four Reasons Why 'Atomic Bomb' should not be derided so foolishly....

definitely agree re: songwriting, although the writing seems pretty... opaque on say Boy & October as well Bono's songwriting really peaked in the 90s, IMHO

Four Reasons Why 'Atomic Bomb' should not be derided so foolishly....

There is no comparison between Pop and Bomb. They're on completely different quality tiers, with Pop in the top echelon of u2 albums, Bomb... somewhere at the bottom.

    The Edge about New album

I'd like to see them drop it a notch. Something akin to the non-Pride songs on Unforgettable Fire. (And this coming from someone who swears Pop is their best album)
