Was anyone else surprised how easy it was to pull tickets to the Hawaii show? I know its a stadium but they are in baseball set up so its not much more people than a good sized arena...

Just sorta on topic.. i saw Bon Jovi in NJ last week and they did something cool but I do not think it would fly at a U2 show. The show began with the band on stage.. and behind the sound board was a mini stage , and John walked through the back of the crowd and up on to it for the first song...

what about the MSG show where patti smith got messed up or whatever and the show cut short?...MSG show in May was energetic but nothing compared to the rainy run in October

It's all about the $$$.. well a lot of it lol.. These guys (and every band) cash in on touring, not the album.....If they can play and play and play and sell out...good for them lol

you may find it far fetched.. but people are wealthy because they manage their money well (look what happened to mike tyson, mc hammer, etc, etc)... they could lose thousands (and i have heard numbers such as $25,000) a day in taxes.

since they are all most likely not US citizens.. probably legal "aliens" or something.. i am sure they have to pay some sort of an income tax.. and depending on time they spend in the U.S relates to how much they owe. Since being on the road is "working".. they can claim tey were "working" in...

i think if the crowd is rude to kanye it would be hysterical if U2 gives a half ass and shorter show....that would show people not to be disrespectful. Now if kanye starts talking and u disagree and boo.. ok maybe.. but show the guy some respect...relax..watch the show

look at it this way.. i hate people who refuse to see opening act.. infact your ticket price goes towards that as well. it doesnt hurt to go and see it.. worse comes to worse..you dont like it and enjoy u2. Anyone who boo's him has no class and i think Bono and the rest of the band should let...

lepermessiah.. no need to play the race card here... i think he was just frustrated ...understandable. it happens everywhere..its how the world works...i know it sucks.. but thats it.

good feedback = good ticket usually unless they bought it from someone else, etc...but feedback is always a good way to trust things.
