If you could undo one u2 "mistake"?

I agree with all the commnets about leaving Pop alone. U2's biggest mistakes, in my opinion have been... Recording One with Mary J.... A huge mistake! Releasing COBL as a single. COBL is a cheap knock-off of WTSHNN. The overall production of HTDAAB. Tooo much double-tracked vocals and the...

MLB Thread menage a trois: The Stretch Run

Dave Stewart was my favorite player with the A's back then. I know that the A's have looked awful in the playoffs in recent yesars, but I think that the addition of sevral key veterans, especially Frank Thomas could make this post-season history. Regardless, congrats on the Mets.

You guys are absorbed in your East Coast bias. The A's are th real-deal! I've been going to their games since I was a little kid. Look west!!!

(08-14-2006) Rumor: U2 Greatest Hits CD for Christmas? -- Interference.com*

This is bad. Any new release from U2 should consist of new material. I also fear what a previous poster wrote regarding a bunch of compilations from Aerosmith. I hope U2 isn't headed in that direction.

The one song you wish U2 would 'cover'?

"We Didn't Start the Fire" Billy Joel (a very political song) "Brilliant Disguise" Bruce Springsteen (AB-type lyric) "The Rising" Bruce Springsteen "Fantastic Place" Marillion "The Difficult Kind" Sheryl Crow (I'd like to hear U2 cover a female-song)

Reluctant partners of obsessed U2 fans

A mutual love and respect for U2 is one of the reasons that my wife and I connected when we first met. In a way U2 brought us closer together.

    U2s Best Booklet

Achtung Baby. The photos really really create a mood and I love the contract between the cold of Berlin and the warmth of the Canary Islands.

One of U2's best songs ever! By far their best song to start a show (ZooTV).

    U2 hitting new lows...

BVS are you saying that Celine isn't a respected artist in her genre? Celine is one of the top selling female artists in the world! A quick question...Does MJB write her own music, lyrics, etc or does she have people that do all of that for her?

    U2 hitting new lows...

U2 recording One with Mary J Blige is no better than had they recorded Sunday Bloody Sunday with Celine Dion.

Justin, I'm non-instructional faculty. I put together classes but I don't teach them. I'll be working the Earth Day Event on April 20 in Ram Plaza.

    U2 hitting new lows...

BVS, I'm actually a fan of blues and WLCTT. BB King is a well-respected talented artist, unlike MJB. Hey Justin24. I work at CCSF!

    U2 hitting new lows...

BVS, you need to step down from your ultra-politically correct high horse. I happen to like good rock whether it be from artists that are black, white whatever. Color has no part in it. Justin24, are you also a CSM alum?

    U2 hitting new lows...

Hey BonoVoxSupastar!!! Am I now a racist because I don't care for R&B? I happen to be a fan of Lenny Kravitz and Jimi Hendrix. Also, I don't like Dick Cheney, so does that mean that I hate old, white men? I think you're the one that's being close minded.

OK, I'm not a big fan of Trash, Trampoline & The Party Girl. You got me. I surrender. BTW Popmartjin, I've been told that I greatly resemble Ruud Von Nistelroy.

I have heard Happiness is a Warm Gun. (I think its on the Last Night on Earth single). Still... Happiness is a Warm Gun is much better than the MJB One.

    U2 hitting new lows...

I can't believe that several of you actually like the MJB-U2 version of One. It was so bad that I left the room and walked into the kitchen. U2 should be recording with peers, others who have had amazing careers, not some "diva" that has no right to be on a stage with U2. I can understand U2...

    U2 hitting new lows...

I realize that I'm the one that mentioned Aerosmith. It's a comparison that I'm reluctant to make in regards to U2. R&B? I'd say I like about 5-10% of R&B. I do consider R&B to be inferior to rock. Thus I consider U2 collaborating with an R&B artist to be sad statement. Talk about ruining your...
