    June 17 & 18 2011 - Anaheim Part IX - I don't remember what Cory Marshall Looks Like

In regards to the WC tickets, thank you guys for the help. I got these tickets on Ebay really cheap, and it seems to good to be true. has anyone purchased WC tickets before? Am I going to be turned away for not being disabled?

    June 17 & 18 2011 - Anaheim Part IX - I don't remember what Cory Marshall Looks Like

Does anyone know about row WC tickets? I bought (2) F122 row WC tix for the Friday show, but can't figure out what WC is. I saw something about it being disabled seating?

Rock Hall of Fame setlist predictions

Any guesses as to who the "icon" might be? Somewhere on @U2 there was another quote saying it was someone U2 hasn't played with before "never-before-seen collaborations" was the line.... So scratch McCartney, Keith... I don't think the full band has collaborated with Mick? I'm not sure who...

Hey! MW is sounding pretty good!

Yeah it got dark very late (from my perspective, growing up in California), after 10 PM if I remember right.

GA Experiences So Far- Good, Bad, Ugly?

I was at the U gate in Paris, which apparently was a gate just for people who got their tix in the presale, and our gate opened before some others. We also had a direct route onto the floor, nearby gates had to run to our entrance. So I imagine a bit of the problem people were having had to do...

July 11 — Stade de France — Paris!

I'm in Annecy for the month and am heading to Paris Friday for the show, leaving late Sunday. Anyone going that knows the city and what to do at night, where to eat etc...?

    Yahweh (Alt Version)

To me, Yahweh (alt) is the only one I wish they hadn't changed for the final album. The different drums, the guitar that comes in on the second verse, all make the song much better to my ears. The album version sounds murky/muddled to me, less direct. The only thing the album version has better...

    A 9 Song Album?

I agree with the original poster, I skip Boots and SUC every time. On my Itunes and Ipod, they're gone, and Winter is added, making an excellent 10 song album in my regard.

    NLOTH and copypasta

I see what the poster is talking about with Acquience (i think). The "we believe in one another" is being compared to "its not a hill its a mountain" and "do you believe me or you doubt it". Specifically in both the the last part of "believe" gets a sudden raise in volume (and pitch?) Seems...

July 11 — Stade de France — Paris!

I'll be in Annecy for the month of July in a Study Abroad program and I bought 2 GA tix in the presale. I'd love to meet up with people in Paris, I'll be taking the train from Lyon on Friday I assume.

No Line On The Horizon (Alternate Tracklist)

I'm happy with most of the running order, but I ALWAYS skip GOYB, and though I like Stand Up Comedy, I don't think it fits anywhere, so: 1. No Line on the Horizon 2. Magnificent 3. Moment of Surrender 4. Unknown Caller 5. I'll Go Crazy If I Don't Go Crazy Tonight 6. Winter 7. Fez -Being Born 8...

Does this album feel unfinished to you?

I agree with the "these days" part of Breathe being awkward. Its starting to sound better to me, and its my second favorite song so far on the CD, but the transition from verse to "these days" sounded painful at first, and still doesn't sound good.

NLOTH FULL ALBUM - Shamelessly Immediate Review Thread (DISCUSSION ONLY)

White as Snow: Need more listens, didn't blow me away, but I can tell its a grower. Breathe: I didn't hear any of the things that were written about it, I'm sure I'll notice them in time, but all I got was BIG ROCKER, awesome riffs, good chorus Cedars: I like the singing style, I didnt think...

NLOTH FULL ALBUM - Shamelessly Immediate Review Thread (DISCUSSION ONLY)

SUC: Awesome, from the lyrics we knew I thought it would be corny. Next time I don't think I should listen to 30 second clips or read advance lyrics, cause every song has blown away my expectations based on those. FEZ/Being Born: Sweet drums, mostly instrumental i guess, i kinda didn't notice...

NLOTH FULL ALBUM - Shamelessly Immediate Review Thread (DISCUSSION ONLY)

Unknown Caller: Cool, classic Edge, Beatles feel, super cool Crazy: The best bridge I've heard from U2 in a very long time, it did just what I hoped it would. Boots: Still not a big fan, but after 5 great songs it sounds ok in the whole experience.

NLOTH FULL ALBUM - Shamelessly Immediate Review Thread (DISCUSSION ONLY)

No Line: Much better than the 2nd version, I'm relieved, love the solo thing towards the end. Magnificent: Halfway through I'm thinking how this one song is ten times better than everything on HTDAAB, and I like Bomb. It just seems to flow, there is nothing forced about it, nothing awkward...
