Yes, its still the experience I'm after. But after 20 years of the same experiences, I guess the novelty is starting to wear off. Like I said, I'm getting old. :sad:

My wife and I saw U2 perform at the Anaheim Pond last week, first show. I have been going to U2 concerts since the 80's and all thru the 90's. The show was fantastic albeit a little short for my tastes. I really love the new songs being performed. I love Elevation in its new iteration...

2 GA's for Nov. 1 in Los Angeles. What a different experience from Jan. 26. Thanks U2 for making it right.

I think Larry Mullen might have a problem with that idea. U2 becomes a jukebox? Aaaaargh! :drool:

My feeling is this is the start of the decline of U2. Yes, they will still be producing albums and great hopefully into their 60's but I do feel this is their final stab at relevance in the music industry. They will be around to entertain us hard core fans but the opportunity to pick up new...

Although I agree with what you said, U2 knew what it was getting into with fanfire and ticketmaster. They have been in the business too long to not know the standard practices of Ticketmaster and scalpers. Maybe running Propaganda was getting tedious but I think they could have made a better...

These reminds me of the Pop mart tour where a bunch of us had WIRE passes hanging on our necks. Didn't get us anything but then you were able to identify who was active in WIRE.

I kept trying for about 30 mins to see if better tix will show up. It didn't. So I purchased what I thought were the most reasonable ones. I'll keep looking for better ones and also for the 2nd night shows that are sure to appear after the first night is sold out. If I get better tickets...

I got 2 tix to Anaheim. Seat location: section 407, row M, seats 9-10 for 95 each plus the rape charge. I kept searching for seats for about 30 mins hoping better ones would show up. These were ok since they were offering Row G seats for the $165 each.

It would really be easy for U2 management to find out how all those presale GA tix went to all the scalpers on ebay. Just a quck database query of TM orders and finding out w/c passwords were used to buy the tickets. Of course, U2's mgmt might already know about this practice and probably do...

I think they resetted all the codes but you're probably right about them cancelling your previous order if they notice.

Who said I'm going for GA seats? I'm just expecting the $165 dollar seats to be lower lever like the ones that I almost got this morning before the TM system took a crap.

Single tickets seem to get better choices.

No, I expect fan friendly selections of tickets for my $40 dollar fan club membership, not nosebleeds at exhorbitant prices!

Not for the anaheim show. All nosebleeds. $49 for the top section all the way back. The farthest you can be from the stage. $95 for the top section, right rear side. $165 for the top section, left rear side. Prime choices there. :lol:

This one is a good one from TM cust. service rep after I asked for a supervisor. There are no supervisors available now to take your call. They are calling everyone to verify that orders did not go thru and make sure the passwords are valid. I said, they're calling 90,000 members? Silence...

Oh cool...new TM cust. line. Everybody is aware of the problem. It should be fixed in 2 hours! FUCK EM!:madspit:
