popmart stage versus vertigo stadium stage

I´ll have to disagree. Vertigo Europe was the loudest I've ever heard U2. "The Fly" made my ears bleed.

    Vertigo DVD

Electric Co. To include that in the setlist is the best decision u2 have made this year.

    Argue this....

I think for "Streets" to reclaim its magic the following has to happen: Put it as an opener in one of the encores. Then we can have the "Joshua-tour-version" where Larry comes in and starts the countdown. And no flags please. Or another thing: Put it as the LAST song. Regarding the setlist: U2...

Has Edge's biggest fear come true?

I'm not down on it. Don't get me wrong. I admire you energy.

Has Edge's biggest fear come true?

Funny seing you around. Could it be another incident of you defending the Vertigo tour?

Has Edge's biggest fear come true?

That it's obvious to anyone, that theatrics have played a major part of U2's shows since zootv.

Has Edge's biggest fear come true?

Pretending to be a cat...? That one I didn't get. Come on. What are we discussing? Isn't it pretty obvious that they do the same tricks every nigth? Jesus, Muhammed, Jew... My bet for tonights show: "From the blah blah of Louisiana, to the blah blah of Kilimanjaro" "From Dr. King to Dr. John Doe".

Fenway Park, Boston, 2 nights Summer 2006

Excuse me, but english is not my native tongue: When you say "crapped all over", I think about vomit. What I'm trying to say is: Did you prefer indoor or outdoor?

Before the end of the third leg? Isn't it more reasonable to think it will be out next year?

U2 at the end of the world

I'm also halfway through. Very interesting. Any books from Popmart or Elevation with these "on-the-road-insider-accounts"? One thing bothers me though: I know there has been said alot about Larry's personality. What I read in the book, I'm not sure I'm so impressed with. He seems grumpy and pays...

    4th leg in Europe

Another article about U2 coming back to Europe: In english... Raja negotiates a U2 concert for the next year's spring The councilman Town hall of Gijon, Iván Alvarez Raja, met yesterday in San Sebastian the producers of the European tour of the group of rock U2 to analyze the possibilities...

Arcade Fire to open for U2 on 3 Canadian Dates

I hope Arcade Fire plays a set without "Wake Up". Then, when Dallas and all the others are done with tuning guitars and taping up setlist papers all over the floor, Arcade Fire enters the stage again to play "Wake Up". And U2 entering a few minutes later.

    Stop the Complaining and Deal!!!!

Maybe there has yet to be a confirmed identical setlist... But I cannot see the big issue here. Does it matter that much if there's 1 or 2 changes in the setlist? It's still pretty much the same setlist. I think U2 approach these concerts with the same attitude as has always been there. Nothing...

What happened to the Second Leg setlists?

It also has something to do with U2 trying to find the right formula on the first leg. I wouldn't expect too many experiments when they return to the states.

The Best of the Vertigo Tour 2005/2006

Agree about Anaheim COBL without the keyboards. It is the most amazing "fuck-up".

I'm a bit amazed that, until now, I'm the only one who likes a party girl + silver and gold.

    North American vs. European Setlists

What is interesting at this point in the discussion is why U2 chose not to do stadiums in the US. Neilz: There must be other reasons than just Bono trying to avoid the smell of popcorn up front. I think other reasons must be of importance. But... I actually don't get why they don't do stadiums...

    North American vs. European Setlists

Far superior setlists... Following songs have been played more often in Europe: Who's gonna ride, All I want is you, Miss Sarajevo, Still haven't found, with or without you, I will follow. No one can deny that in the States the following songs have been played more often: Gloria, An Cat Dubh...

    North American vs. European Setlists

Rush? I saw a concert with Iron Maiden the other day. They have a great crowd as well. Even though 99% of the audience is longhaired males.
