    Achtung Baby/ Zooropa remaster/ reissue - Part III/ three

Why? People here and from other forums often misinterpret reviews. Even reviewers themselves! When someone is giving AN ALBUM review, then fine. He can write whatever he wants and put whatever rating he might like. In that context, yes AB is a 5 star album, no doubt But when someone is giving...

    Achtung Baby/ Zooropa remaster/ reissue - Part III/ three

Now that the documentary has been criticized a lot by media I think the lads should hurry up, remaster everything (in a good way, of course!) and add a decent tracklist of extras and DVDs content That 'ace' they thought they had is an epic fail. They might get Down

Achtung Baby/Zooropa remasters CONFIRMED for Fall 2011 by Rolling Stone

Too much stuff left out of this box They could add the best of these tracks on CDs (after all I'm pretty sure there's still room on those 3 CDs of rarities -not counting the 4th one, Baby AB) and the rest as Audio somewhere on the DVDs

Achtung Baby/Zooropa remasters CONFIRMED for Fall 2011 by Rolling Stone

If the albums aren't remastered then the boxset really falls into crap category. They would use 3 discs (2 CD, AB & Zooropa + Sydney DVD) to copy/paste material we already own

Of the Remastered Disc thus far........

Are we talking about the AB box or the past reissues as well?

Achtung Baby/Zooropa remasters CONFIRMED for Fall 2011 by Rolling Stone

I guess all the pre Pop material (like Miss Sarajevo and HMTMKMKM singles) will be somewhere on Pop deluxe edition Once again, Pop has the POTENTIAL to be a great, great box  - Single versions that were actually better than album ones - Early versions of Pop songs and radically different...

Achtung Baby/Zooropa remasters CONFIRMED for Fall 2011 by Rolling Stone

Calling all U2 experts: What material from AB and Zooropa is missing? (let's name B-sides, promos, videos, documentaries made at the time, etc, etc) I'd start with ZOO TV OUTSIDE BROADCAST SPECIAL. Never released on DVD

Achtung Baby/Zooropa remasters CONFIRMED for Fall 2011 by Rolling Stone

With 4 DVDs to spare, they should have included a 1992, another 1993 gig and Outside Broadcast documentary  And there's still room for the film documentary, all the AB and Zooropa videos, etc.

Achtung Baby/Zooropa remasters CONFIRMED for Fall 2011 by Rolling Stone

With 4 DVDs there would be plenty of space to include ALL 1990-1993 documentaries around, 2 previously unreleased concerts (1 from 1992 and 1 from 1993), new surround mixes, interviews, videos, etc. I bet all the material they're about to include can fit on just 2 DVDs  as I posted @...

25 March 2011 Estadio Nacional - Santiago, CH

Actually I was waiting for a number like Discotheque. You know, the Lemon remix didn't matter because it was an intermission while the big Lemon was moving to the second stage. It was just music being played over PA But this time I'll Go Crazy remix was actually a song played by the band :huh...

25 March 2011 Estadio Nacional - Santiago, CH

We really wanted to rock U2 and rock the stadium, but we simply couldn't do it with In a Little While, I'll Go Crazy, Miss Sarajevo, Moment of Surrender, Walk On, etc, you know what I mean? too much mid-tempo and slow stuff  Clearly, not an ideal setlist for South America, the hottest fans...

25 March 2011 Estadio Nacional - Santiago, CH

Hi all! Here I go with my two cents: Having been a long time U2 fan (more than 20 years) and having attended to the very first U2 performance in Chile (how can I forget it, 11-February-1998) I have really mixed feelings about last night's gig Things have changed A LOT in 13 years, and...

U2's Third Time in South America 2011 - A Discussion

If someone related to the band read this: There's a patent disinterest in Santiago gig, mainly because (I suposse) the OBSCENE prices! tickets are so overpriced that people aren't buying them Also, why in Chile we've been treated unfairly? I mean, while in Brasil and Argentina all the time...

U2's Third Time in South America 2011 - A Discussion

I was there on Santiago 1998  They did play the song in 2006 too, but that version was The Edge on charango! (a traditional instrument from the Andes). I'm not quite sure if I'd like a third version. Anyway, I really hope they'll film something from Chile this time  In 1998 Popmart...
