Oh I doubt it too, but never rule it out. The Rolling Stones played numerous clubs on their last tour as well, so you can't totally discount big bands playing smaller venues, even as a one off.

Springsteen played one night in Convention Hall in Atlantic City on his Rising tour, full band and all. No reason to think that U2 wouldn't do it.

This is gonna be a monster. I love the way Hamish Hamilton can take these live cuts and turn each song into even more of a work of art. He and the band seem to know exactly what angles to catch at the exact right moment. He takes a show and turns it into a work of art. This should be outstanding.

The only guy who came out on Friday was Bono. He met the fans for about a minute or so and it was total bedlam. If you're going to try, be sure you get a rail spot closest to the driveway in or you'll have no chance. And it's 33rd and 8th, the group of people hanging out next to the GA line.

I didn't bother bringing the digital camera last night, opting for the crappy camera phone. All I can say is just bring the camera. Don't pay attention to the ticket, just bring the camera. They were everywhere, within full view, MSG allows them in, don't worry about it, just bring them.

Re: Re: Will they play a bit longer at MSG? Shows have gone past midnight at MSG. I've seen four Phish shows go past midnight at MSG. Granted three of them were New Year's Eve shows, but it does happen. :) I wouldn't expect U2 to go past midnight though. ;)

Well that's why they said "approximately". They're just trying to give a round about time as to when the show might end, helps people plan their evening out in case they have to be home at a certain time. I wouldn't pay much attention to it, U2 will mostly dictate the time the show ends. And I...
