Talk about it or offer up an explanation for it.

    Wow @ Youtube

CD's are a great convenience Attempting to carry 100's of CD's around with you at one time, great inconvenience.

U2 week soon on Channel 4

If we here in the US weren't so damn obsessed with reality shows and moronic sitcoms, maybe WE could get programming like that every once in a while too. :( Hopefully a great week for torrents somewhere.

It's going to be on the Double Secret Probation Ultra Limited Edition of the U218 Singles compilation.

    Chicago DVD sound issues???

I would've thought the same thing that i was a generic response, but this was an email that was forwarded from the main Universal email to a specific woman and we exchanged emails a couple of times about it. I had the option of either emailing her or calling the work number she provided (which...

    Chicago DVD sound issues???

I emailed universal music about the audio problem and they had gotten back to me. They wanted to know the UPC code, place of purchase, estimated date of purchase, if the packaging was damaged in any way, and what the audio problems were. She got back to me saying that they're investigating the...

    arrrghh--msg shirt rip off...

On Springsteen's Rising tour, he was putting out shirts specific to each show, not just the stand. His ten nights at Giants stadium each had a number and specific date on the back, he did this for the final Shea shows as well. When I tried getting a number 10 Giants stadium shirt for the last...

I think they should replace the Chicago DVD (Audio quality)

I'm sorry, but the audio quality on this DVD is unacceptable. I'm surprised there hasn't been more of a fuss made out of this. Edge's guitar halfway disappears during a part of Electric Co. and comes blasting back out when he's on the ramp (and you can hear Adam's bass way too high). Listen to...

    Static on DVD??

I think I know what you're talking about. It seems to be pretty bass heavy and the best way to eliminate the problem you're describing would be to tinker with your setup, be it just a television or a home theater sound system. Changing the audio settings on the DVD won't help you much. Lower the...

U2 playing the Borgata in Spring??

Oh I doubt it too, but never rule it out. The Rolling Stones played numerous clubs on their last tour as well, so you can't totally discount big bands playing smaller venues, even as a one off.

U2 playing the Borgata in Spring??

Springsteen played one night in Convention Hall in Atlantic City on his Rising tour, full band and all. No reason to think that U2 wouldn't do it.

    Chicago DVD promo video (awesome!)

This is gonna be a monster. I love the way Hamish Hamilton can take these live cuts and turn each song into even more of a work of art. He and the band seem to know exactly what angles to catch at the exact right moment. He takes a show and turns it into a work of art. This should be outstanding.

MERGED --> rear-view seats at Wachovia center - are these good seats?

I would've grabbed 'em in a heartbeat myself. I personally don't mind being behind the stage, the only problem is when the light beads drop for a few songs. When I sat behind the stage at Wachovia back in May, they were a bit tough to see through but not too, too bad. As far as whether or not...

With enough people being tee'd off about the "static" U2 setlists...

Maybe it'll be easier for me to get tickets to a couple more shows next tour. :)

To those who met them at MSG:

The only guy who came out on Friday was Bono. He met the fans for about a minute or so and it was total bedlam. If you're going to try, be sure you get a rail spot closest to the driveway in or you'll have no chance. And it's 33rd and 8th, the group of people hanging out next to the GA line.

07th October New York - Madison Square Garden

First off I'd like to say it was my first opportunity meeting someone who reads this board, Steve...great seeing you at the 10/7 show! I've heard many shows from this tour but have only seen the Philly 1, so keep that in mind as far as my live experience goes on this particular tour. I'll be...

MERGED --> ALL Concert Photography/Cameras Discussion

I didn't bother bringing the digital camera last night, opting for the crappy camera phone. All I can say is just bring the camera. Don't pay attention to the ticket, just bring the camera. They were everywhere, within full view, MSG allows them in, don't worry about it, just bring them.

Anyone keep the confetti from CoBL?

So did anyone get any confetti from last night's MSG show? :) And to anyone I met last night (like ya'lld remember ;) ), shoot me an email at bheddenAToptonline.net . What an awesome time on 10/7.

Will they play a bit longer at MSG?

Re: Re: Will they play a bit longer at MSG? Shows have gone past midnight at MSG. I've seen four Phish shows go past midnight at MSG. Granted three of them were New Year's Eve shows, but it does happen. :) I wouldn't expect U2 to go past midnight though. ;)

Will they play a bit longer at MSG?

Well that's why they said "approximately". They're just trying to give a round about time as to when the show might end, helps people plan their evening out in case they have to be home at a certain time. I wouldn't pay much attention to it, U2 will mostly dictate the time the show ends. And I...
