Green Day are okay. I like the single "American Idiot", but most of their stuff just doesn't do it for me. They're amazing musically, though.

Yes, they were good, but to my ears it sounds like they lost something around 1981(or at the very latest, 1983.) Invisible Touch onwards just doesn't strike me personally the way the earlier stuff did. I still enjoy it, but not as much.

Anybody else a fan of this band? I have This is a Long Drive, The Fruit that Ate Itself, The Moon and Antarctica, and Good News, and all 4 cds sound amazing and brilliant to my ears. The Moon and Antarctica especially - that cd is a masterpiece. So, any MM'heads here?

Genesis were pretty good back when they had Peter Gabriel and Steve Hackett, but the Phil Collins years are patchy and have some of the worst 'bleh' moments of music history, IMO.
