thanks for the comments. I don't use tabs anymore, mainly because I've found most of them unhelpful. I use my ears and my eyes (where Edge is placing his hands on the fretboard) to figure out what is played. I think the key elements of the Edge sound is a Vox AC-30 w/ Blue or Silver alnico...

if you're going to get a delay in a pedal, i would suggest going with the Electro Harmonix Deluxe Memory Man or even the Line 6 DL-4. Then get an SD-1 and then i would suggest a compressor - maybe the CS-2 or MXR Dynacomp

you can check fleebay for cases. they can get expensive for quality cases, but worth it

TS-9 was Edge's main overdrive on the Elevation tour, it replaced the SD-1. Now he uses the DM-4 for a lot of his overdrive sounds so who knows

there has been a lot of mystery around this pedal about what songs he uses it for. it is not even used anymore for UTEOTW, he now uses the PW-2 for that song.

Actually, what I've read is Edge likes the Original WH-1 because of the analog 'sweep' sound of it when you rock it back and forth. The newer ones have a more digital sound. Songs a whammy has been used on: Even Better than the Real Thing Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me Mofo Beautiful Day...

I'm not saying he keeps it on the same settings, but it's a possibility because he has 3-4 SDD-3000s in there and for most of the songs he uses the TC 2290 anyway. I don't think Dallas has a foot controller that changes the presets to the SDD-3000 because it is not midi capable, perhaps why he...

You're right, they control the backing tracks. They are not the controller for the SDD-3000. I had a SDD-3000 with the footcontroller, that is not the one and since it is not midi capable, they must either switch it by hand or just keep it on one setting through the set.
