Edge gives some hints on the setlist

While I don't agree about Until the End of the World and probably The Fly and Miss Sarajevo, I agree completely about the others. And I also agree about the comment besides Beautiful Day. The thing I would like to see them do though is to rework some of the songs, which I feel lost their energy...

    Watching ZooTV Sydney saddens me...

Yes, and they also said: What are we going to do now it's all been said? No new ideas in the house and every book has been read ...

any reason for almost no 90's songs being played?

Indeed. So based on the fact that they hardly play any song from their best album and never play their best songs, one can assume this is their worst tour ever, or at least not as good as it could be. And I feel that is true. They keep playing their most overrated songs (Elevation, Vertigo...

If there's any chance of a setlist shakeup, it'll happen this Friday.

So, we got the shake-up. Vertigo II is there again :banghead: Some say U2 are reading these forums. Two things are possible: 1) they don't read them or 2) they just don't want to listen to their fans.

    What about Electrical Storm

It seems nobody is interested anymore. Now that you would be able to comment, you back off. It seems everybody makes comments about the setlists without actually hearing the songs. So it isn't surprising that almost everyone is getting bored because of looking at almost the same list of songs...

    What about Electrical Storm

Well, for me it certainly doesn't sound like any of the official releases of the song. I put it on the ysi - check it out for yourselves. You will need Monkey's audio, available from http://www.monkeysaudio.com/ (it comes with a winamp plugin). I would convert it to mp3, but the taper does not...

How will the Vertigo tour change now that 40,000 people are confirmed dead in Asia?

It won't change. That didn't happen in the USA, if I'm a bit sarcastic.

Does the show start at the encore?

Come on, guys, that is actually the best part of the show! U2 concert without Streets, without One? And besides that, Miss Sarajevo is THE best song on this tour. OK, there are some things that could be better (lightshow during Streets or the last part of Bullet for example), but still, I would...

Bono's Lip Synching at concerts (Edge too)

If you don't know what they're doing, babe it must be art!

Setlist predictions for the next 2 shows?

That's exactly what I've been asking myself from the first time U2 started playing Vertigo twice on this tour. I can understand that the band which has about 10 songs has to play some songs twice if they want a concert consisting of 14 songs. But when a band has 450 songs (or how many do U2 sell...

    Euro 2005

But don't get me wrong - I'd like to see I'm mistaken.

    Euro 2005

Judging by past there will be no tour (at least in Europe) next year. And there will be no new album either.

Setlist predictions for the next 2 shows?

One twice? A bit strange. But still better than Vertigo twice :)

Bono's Lip Synching at concerts (Edge too)

They are lip-syncing especially when they screw up the song completely and have to start it again. Now that's what I call art!

    Keane - How are they?

I saw four opening acts playing on this tour, two in Milan and two in Munich. The second one in Munich was Keane. It was the opening band that got BY FAR the most cheering from U2 fans. The crowd was cheering almost as if it was U2. And their music sounds great. They came on stage at about 7pm...

I want world peace, to make poverty history and ACROBAT!!!!!!

Yes, they do realize. They just want to keep the fans wondering when they will play it. When they start having problems to sell out their shows, they will put that out and start selling out again. :) "What are we going to do now it's all been said? No new ideas in the house, and every book's...

My last attempt at U2 willpower

Hey guys! Looks like you can not bear the thought that other people know what is going on with U2 and their tour. Well, I can't do that either :) But honestly, I do not care. I can still enjoy the show. And you will also enjoy it!

Has the Internet taken away from the live experience?

Reading the same list of songs every day could be very annoying. Reading posts of people complaining about it is still worse. OK, I also made some comments about the setlists, because I think that changing it from show to show is interesting. But, the question is: would I go to another concert...

I Want To Live In America

I've been to New Zealand last December, and for sure I can say that U2 is very popular there. In 16 days I spent there I heard All I Want Is You four times on the radio! Not to mention other songs, this is only the winner :) Thinking that U2 wouldn't be able to fill arenas or stadiums down there...

I Want To Live In America

I think I am going to stick with KEVIN051269 and Axver here. What Kevin says is absolutely true for me. I attended two shows, luckily one of them in Milan where they played two more songs than usual. But the lack of even waiting for a surprise in the set is just too annoying. A few moments ago I...
