Don't know if anyone has already posted apropos this album, but... I love it. Spencer Krug (also of Wolf Parade, Swan Lake, and Frog Eyes) is one the the most talented muscians out there at the moment. His albums are densely constructed, but very rewarding. :up:

Anyone else a big fan of Ray LaMontagne and his debut Trouble that came out in late 2004? It hasn't left my cd player since a friend gave me a copy a few weeks ago. He reminds me a lot of The Band. Seriously this whole album is amazing. :drool:

I think I just witnessed one of the greatest concerts I have ever seen - The Arcade Fire at the Riviera here tonight in Chicago. I actually shed a small tear when they opened up the show with the triumphance of 'Wake Up'. Everyone who can see this band needs to RIGHT NOW. :bow:

According to MTV, U2 will release... the DVD "U2//Vertigo//2005: Live From Chicago" on November 15. Directed by Hamish Hamilton, who also helmed the recent "Elevation: Live From Boston" and "U2 Go Home: Live From Slane Castle, Ireland," the DVD was shot during four shows in May. :drool:

Anyone know U2's longest live version of Bad is to date? If not longest, perhaps the best (all opinions welcome). I have quite a few, but just wanted to know what all you U2 experts think. :wink: I am asking because it is my fav U2 song and its most recent use as the closer of Chicago 5/12...

Anyone else think there should be a superfan concert in each city, because quite frankly, some of these people who go to the shows are sitting, not bringing any energy, only there to get wasted, etc. It drives me crazy. Imagine what the place would be like if the whole arena was full of die...
