I watched a video of my first U2 concert, Hamilton in Oct. 2001, and nary a cell phone or camera to be seen. So strange. (and I am just as guilty as anyone else with taking tons of phone pics)
Their site is really irritating me. I know their "people" are not running their website nor their online store anymore but that is still no excuse. Gift aside (which I received late like the rest of you), I ordered other merch 3 months ago and have never received it. Complaint #1 was sent 3...
I don't like the 2nd half of the album either (everything after IALW).
Stuck, Walk On, and Kite are some of my personal favorites out of everything they've done in their career.
The choices they made for the actual singles were spot-on. After all this time I have to admit I have grown tired...
nothing. And I ordered something from the store over 2 weeks ago that hasn't shown up either. I actually have not had a problem with u2.com nor the subscription gift in several years.
- no speech before Streets
- fix the closer....I don't know what song though. The only one I can think of is 40. ISHWILF is a terrible closer and I don't like the new arrangement of One.
- make EBW full band
- sick of BD but I understand why they have to play it
I don't have any problems...
I'm a girl and I usually don't buy the ladies shirts...but I did buy the red one in TO. It fits very well. The sleeves are not capped on me...definitely shorter than a men's t-shirt but not ridiculous. (I know exactly what you're talking about though - I hate the super short sleeves which is why...
360 didn't bother me at all (both '09 and '11.) Granted, it was outside which automatically made the sound escape out of the venue and I was up in the seats both times. Elevation, Vertigo, and this tour have all bothered my ears.
I really should have worn earplugs. WHAT?? I have been to 3 arena shows for other bands within the past year and did not need them. Never needed them for 360 either. It took 2 days for my hearing to get back to normal this week. #old
I would buy a shirt with the Cedarwood Road drawings or Iris constellations.
All of these shirts are pretty much terrible (even though I caved and bought some...don't ask :der:)
