Thanks all for your insight on recent GA experiences! I am taking my 14 year old - first U2 show (26th for me). He's become a big fan - I think his head might explode!

What time did you arrive/line up to get 3 people back on Adam's side? I have seen reports in a few forums that the GA capacity has been increased for the 2024 shows (I could not find an official source for this info). Can anyone confirm? I am attending on 3/1 and was planning to skip...

Thanks for the reply - I am a Violet member as I had lapsed. I guess what I am asking is - what are the best odds of getting GA in the presale? Select GA only (and risk getting nothing) or select every level (and risk getting assigned seats even if GA are available)? Or is it all a crapshoot?

I am trying for the presale for these final dates. I didn't attempt the earlier sales since I couldn't attend. I searched elsewhere but couldn't find the answer - apologies if it has been addressed earlier. Is there a priority level for ticket type on the requests? I want GA for any date...

Can anyone confirm that if you purchased tickets in the pre-sale that you can still purchase tickets in the general sale for the same show? And if so, how does this work with the ticket limits?

Places to stay in Chicago? I will be at the 4 shows in May and am looking for hotels. I don't really care where in the city I stay, except that I don't want any rough neighborhoods. The other side, of course, is I am on a budget. Any help would be appreciated!
