Hah...I recognized an old face in the trailer. Funnily enough, depending on the dates, I've never been there before, but I might actually be in Las Vegas in time for a show. I'll just have to see what's possible.

J&J is no longer encouraged. I'm not sure if it's completely out of play, but the emphasis here is definitely on Pfizer or Moderna. Their loss is my gain, I suppose!

Got the booster today, three days after the six month mark for my second dose. I started the pandemic in Toronto, where I got my first dose and where they have ongoing issues with vaccine supplies, but now that I'm stateside again, I'm still somewhat amazed at just how easy it is to get COVID...

With the benefit of much hindsight at this point, I can say that all my favorite U2 albums have Brian Eno's production in common—and, yes, I can even say that my favorite U2 album of the last 20 years is "No Line on the Horizon," which is the last one Eno produced. I don't really feel the need...

Standing in the GA queue. It begins!!! The temp isn't too bad, but the humidity is a bit much. Could be worse, though. I'd say it's a toss up on the dome being opened. It rained earlier, is still cloudy, but is not forecast to rain again.

An amazing album! Not sure if it's my absolute favorite, but it's definitely up there.

I'd have to go with "When I Met You" too. Production-aside, it's nowhere near as polished of a song as anything on the ★ album proper.

Hello! :) BTW, I was at that show at the ACC where you did "Desire" with U2. That was a really amazing experience!

Too much of what I was doing in those days was wrapped around sparring in FYM, and when I moved to Canada (ultimately thanks to that Orwellian "Defense of Marriage Act," which felt like it was never going to be repealed at the time), there became a "distance" between myself and American politics...

I think the switch to non-transferable paperless tickets attached to one's credit card has made a real difference in chasing away ticket resellers and their army of server-crashing bots.
