Put it this way. Pretend it isn't a U2 album. How would you rate the lyrics, the vocal quality, the pacing and overall quality of the work? It's a mediocre album, IMO. Even after a couple listens, LPOE is the only "standout" song, and the rest are just "meh". A couple songs sound like mid-80's...
