    Chicago #2 Setlist Party

Bono seemed pretty pleased w the crowd response to Get Out. Personally- I dig the tune and yelled my head off to every word pumping my fists like an idiot. To be fair I pregamed w a few 7% beers and some malort.

I pretty much agree with everything you guys are saying (Axver and U2387). Still, when they hit it they sound amazing. I really enjoyed myself at the CHI shows and I’m so glad I went. Maybe it’s just the right thing at the right time or something. Sure, there’s a something fair to be said...

Agreed! Such a fun show. I said to wife tonight that, on paper, thats a pretty lame set, but man oh man it’s a great show. I couldn’t give a fart about Elevashun or Vertigo, but that shot rox live. Best Thing was infinitely better tonight than last night. Blackout is balls. Acrobat is...

Have they played Gloria and I Will Follow at the same show yet this tour? If not when is the last time those songs were in a set together? Even better when is the last time they played those songs + the Ocean in a set?

Oh that tumble happened for sure. But Boner never missed a beat. He’s quite the showman, after all.

Just got home. Went solo on a whim. So glad I did as It’s a great show! All those annoying songs sound awesome live (Elevation Vertigo American Soul). I absolutely lost my mind during One, of all things! They’re an awesome band.

    Favorite Live DVD?

I’m gonna add to the love for Red Rocks up in here. I have the most history w that one - somewhere is a battered up VHS tape of the show I got around 1987 or 88 when I was 12 or 13. I also love both Elevation shows. Great performances, and I watched them a fair bit.

    The Verve Fans

Big Verve fan right here. Saw them on the Northern Soul tour and Urban Hymns at Irving Plaza in NYC. Top shows. I could go on and on about their tunes. Storm is my fave album, followed closely by Northern Soul (wherein they replaced atmosphere with grit and grime), Urban Hymns a little farther...

Not a huge fan of “Love is Bigger...” but I like it live (based on a mixlr listen x 2).

It’s full on and it’s sloppy and badass all at once. Exit and Acrobat would indeed pair well tho it might be a bit too much of the heart of darkness in one fell swoop.

Goddamnit UTEOTW is a badass tune...
