    Elbow Part II

Either of the two tracks so far have me head over heels yet, but I’m still excited because Elbow yay. Hope they tour the US again.

shuttlecock XXIV: it's the little swings

I haven’t visited in like 800 years. How is everyone? Have I missed any big drama? I saw some pics of Bono wearing new glasses and I approve of them. I need to listen to SOE. It’s been way too long. Excited for the new Elbow album.

Random Music CXXVI: The Woy Eet Eez

I only use iTunes to get music onto my iPod classic ... I guess I'll just hang onto my old version of iTunes until it dies, or my iPod dies.

Next Album Rumours Thread II - Songs of Ass Scent

This is the stupidest thread I've clicked on in forever. On the other hand, I finally have a reason to use this amazing gif: So ... thanks!

Random TV Talk IV: We're So Broken Inside

Whoops, just saw this. I switched to YouTube TV and lost VH1, so I haven't seen this season. I'm mostly okay with that - I wasn't enjoying it as much as I used to. I hadn't heard Vanjie came back for this season, and I ain't mad about that.

Random Music CXXVI: The Woy Eet Eez

I've only seen her once on the MDMA tour (I think that was the one?), and I was a little meh about it - I wish I'd liked that album more. Glad to have seen her, but would definitely see her again if I had the chance.

I just saw that on Twitter as well - definitely checking it out. Who knew? Wish I still had the sheet music for The Way It Is, now that I have my piano...

The only two Primal Scream songs I know are Movin' On Up and Rocks Off, which for YEARS I thought I had read was a cover of the Rolling Stones song. When I first heard Exile on Main Street years later, I was stunned to realize that wasn't the case.

I'll try and summarize. 98.85%* of all HOLY SHIT stories involving human behavior come out of Florida. So many that the constant stream of "Florida man eats neighbor's face/tackles alligator and is eaten/runs across three counties naked" headlines have been given the short hand "Florida Man."...

Mine was about a half-naked man walking a goat in the rain. Pretty tame. My Florida grandpa and I share a birthday, though, so I was hoping to find a small-town paper mention of "local man celebrates 100 years" from last year for my result, but no such luck. (Also, that dude is going to...

shuttlecock XXIV: it's the little swings

i LIVE for Naked Gun gifs! It can be hard to share such deep shit, especially around mental health, but it makes me happy to see them. Obviously not happy people are struggling with mental health issues, but it's heartening to see society in general starting to realize that it's...

Echoing the support. Anxiety is the fucking worst. It's great to find that joy again. The past few years, I've found myself not enjoying music like I had in the past - even the stuff I loved wasn't really igniting that spark. It's finally recently started to come back - not sure if it's a...

Random TV Talk IV: We're So Broken Inside

Legit excited for the new season of The Good Fight. I'm too impatient to wait the 12-13 weeks it'll take for the season to air fully so I can sign up for CBS All Access and binge it ... I may sign up for it with the premiere and just suck up the $9 a month. I mean, how is this upcoming guest...

I saw in my trusty Q magazind that Elbow should have something new this year. They're playing a bunch of festivals this summer, so I wondered if new music was coming. Impatiently waiting for the Robyn show to start here in Seattle.

Congrats, gump! Mofo, that tweet from "loserboy" is one of the DJs at Seattle's famous KEXP. He's one of the only DJs on the station I consistently listen to because I love so much of what he plays. He'll play the occasional U2, which always makes me smile to hear it on the "indie" station...
