I got 4 tix for 3/2 through the fan club presale, but I think I'm misunderstanding something. My seats are in section 310, but they said they're p2 and charged me $400 per. I thought section 310 was p3 and should be $267. Am I on crack?

I am ultra and got my first choice of 3 nosebleeds for 1/26. My other friend who is also ultra got his first choice of nosebleeds for 1/27. Have no idea how people are chosen.

Yes. The email I got for my reserved seating tickets (which I bought explicitly to transfer) had a section about how to transfer them to a friend.

Holy crap. 5 new shows on the VF sale drop in 7 minutes. 10/27, 10/28 11/1, 11/3, 11/4 If anyone is still looking, I can try to scoop up a transferrable ticket.

I had a VF code and jumped on the Oct 7 and Oct 8 dates to try to get tickets for another forum member. None of the GA rooms were open. I could have gotten P3 Oct 8 tickets, but nothing else that wasn't $2k/seat. In general, it seems that weekday shows have "softer" demand than weekend shows.

Will see what I can do.

Got a verified fan code text having already gotten pre-sale tickets. If anyone wants me to try for anything for them tomorrow, (transferable, so not GA), I'm game.

It's also possible that tickets were assigned in a different order than the email are going out and that Ultras were actually given priority, but haven't gotten their emails yet.

Got mine (3 GA for 10/5, first choice) at 4:45 PDT. Ultra group. My last change to my request was at 6:11 PDT this morning, so I don't think request timing matters. I only requested GA (for 10/5, 10/11, and 10/13). So excited!

Because that's when I mash the "refresh" button on my computer waiting for TicketMaster to tell me something.

For me, it looks like they're in 2 hour blocks: (Times are PDT) 7:00am for the first two shows. 9:00am for the other three original shows. 11:00am for 11, 13, 14 1:00 pm for 18, 20, 21, 25

I agree that it would make sense from a fairness POV, but if some PJ fans are getting their 3rd before others are getting their 1st, I’d guess that’s not how they’re doing it.

My educated guess for how TM is doing ticket distribution: Randomly pick an ultra request. See if priority 1 can be fulfilled. If not, see if priority 2 can be fulfilled. If not, see if priority 3 can be fulfilled. If not, sorry. Repeat until all ultra requests have been processed. Begin same...

I don't think there are any ala I+E. Especially since the start time is 8pm.

Not if doing so requires cutting prices. They'd much rather sell out a super expensive show on the day of than sell out a cheap show the minute it's available. The bank interest is negligible compared to the revenue increase from more expensive tickets.

Logistically, though, it makes little sense to double back and go across the country again in July and August. Unless they're going to stay on the east coast for another few months, I can't imagine where they'd play in July and August that they wouldn't have added in the middle of the tour.
