I've been reading through every page of this thread with great interest and I've been quite flabbergasted by some of it! I know every fandom has it's overly keen fans but I never realised just how it is with some U2 fans!! I've always loved U2 purely for their music but have never got into the...

I know but I thought fans who'd been to these early tours might have posted accounts of their experiences later on, when these forums became up and running. Taking a look back over all the good shows of old.

Hi again. I see that there are special forum sections for the band's last 3 tours (incuding Archived forums) but can't see any forums for their ZooTV or PopMart tours of the 90's, nor one for their Elevation tour of the 00's. Am I just missing them or aren't there any? I just felt like reading...

I think Peter Krause, who's currently playing Benjamin Jones in The Catch would make a good Bond. He has the suave, debonaire thing going. A bit Roger Moore-ish, but a better actor! :)

I'd so love to hear Acrobat live. It's a magnificent song, one of my all-time faves. It's so powerful and raw and the drumming on that song, wow! I could understand Bono finding it a bit too raw and emotional to perform live though. If only though. I'd give anything to be at a live performance...

I love the song. The video, well I guess it looks pretty cheaply made and there's a whole lot of pouting and posing from Bono in it! Being completely shallow here - well, he does look pretty damn hot in the video, lol. Overall though, definitely not U2's finest hour, video-wise! One of my fave...
