Not to add any confusion, but my advice would be to avoid u2.com altogether if at all possible and go directly to the ticket seller. It can't be that hard to determine who will be selling in London (in the States it's Ticketmaster). Go to that site (with your code) and process away. Depending on...
You're welcome, although I just noticed you are in Vancouver so I just compromised my changes at scoring tickets by 1 or 2 tickets. ;) Very altruistic I think. Any chance you'd be interested in a ticket swap (1 GA night 1 for night 2, that type of thing? Assuming we would both be that lucky)
I actually had the exact same issue. Called and emailed and they were no help at all. I finally figured it out on my own. I signed in, then click on your user name in the upper right hand corner, the drop down gives you the "upgrade" option. Click that and that should do it. Good luck. I'm...
Ok, just to add to the confusion. Vancouver has no mention of paperless tickets on the site. LA shows mention paperless tickets for reserved tickets only. Phoenix has paperless for GA tickets. Now this might all be because the sites have yet to update, but I can imagine this will only fuel the...
I think we may be viewing this from the wrong end...with so few "old-time" members drawing on the pre-sales, with so many regional constraints (people unable to travel), and with PAPERLESS/Credit-Card only entry (largely nullifying the broker competition), for those close enough to buy tickets...
...and there was the song "Pete the Chop" too...I think that's the right time frame and I seem to recall reading somewhere that that was U2/Paul M.'s ace-in-the-hole, that they were holding it back in case things ever got desperate they could release it as a sure-fire single. I could be wrong...
Would Love U2 to Play
‘Threw A Brick Through A Window’ or ‘Twilight’. One of the most difficult songs I find to listen to – for personal reasons - is ‘One Tree Hill’ and I think I would love to hear that from the stage because of the friendship I had with Greg Carroll. I’d probably cry my eyes...
...has anyone considered that U2SJ may have a copy of the stolen CD from France; otherwise, how would this materialize? It would be interesting to compare the other songs we know about (the official HTDAAB cd release) to the songs on U2SJ's disc to see if they're the same.
I'm thinking that these may indeed by the 'official' or original lyrics to the song; even though they don't appear in either the studio version or the live versions...that's the only reason I can think of that the '84 issue of propaganda and the u2.com website both have the exact same WRONG...
I was reading my Propaganda collection book last night and noticed that the reproduction (picture of the actual 'unforgettable fire' Propoganda issue) of the 'Bad' lyrics were shown to be:
"...and find a way."
U2.com lists the same thing. Call me crazy, but it's "...fade away." ??
atu2.com...
1. As much information as possible, as early as possible would be a good thing.
2. Anyone who doesn't believe U2 (or at least PM) has an opinion on U2 fans seeing show after show from the front row should read his written passage in the U2 SHOW book. Now this could just be his opinion but it...
