100% agree with you. Little Things should have been one of the singles and therefore the song to play at the Grammys, exactly as you described. Make the song a mic drop unto itself.

Fair point. I am just salty because I think the song is bland and by-the-numbers, the pre-taped performance on the barge robbed the band of their talent when performing live and Larry looked like he was there at gunpoint. I love the guys to death but this was brutal.

U2 chooses to get political at the Grammys but doesn't play a song like Summer of Love (with Lady Gaga already being at the show) or Red Flag Day? What is going on with them, seriously?

Obviously none of us can be sure but do you think that's the philosophy of all members of the band?

Red Flag Day feels like a demo they've had leftover from Boy or War....especially when Edge sings backup on the chorus - each time he does I could swear I am listening to War.

So I am going crazy here, there was a song in the pre-show playlist that I am trying to identify – it was towards the end, heavy on the keyboard, modern pop tune (I think), female singer, and a had Motown influence. Does anybody know what song I am talking about?

Sounds great! Don't forget to hit open strings during the solo (like the g string in the descending run at the beginning of the solo).

I think the most likely setup will be the following: The first two songs will either be Crazy, Stand up Comedy, Breathe, Boots or Magnificent and the third will be an old favourite like I Will Follow which they did last time (Coldplay did the same thing too last year)

Well, Bono made mention of the next album during the "Three Nights with U2" interview. For those who didn't hear it, he basically said that next year we'd hear something from them that's not very rock and roll....
