    Greek National Road

Hopefully this doesn't qualify as spam or anything, but thought I'd let all of you know about the new EP released by my band Greek National Road. You can actually download it for free from our website www.greeknationalroad.com or at www.noisetrade.com/greeknationalroad. Hope you enjoy it if...

Horizon members of the world unite!

Never registered for Prop or U2.com until December '08 and I'm a horizon member. The last tours, I scored GA through regular sale, but knew I had the backup of u2.com for the 3rd leg. I heard they were doing the "longer" member thing so I finally choked up the $40. It pays to abuse the system.

Fav & Least fav rock drummers [I promise this isn't a sad Lemon Melon rip off]

No mention of Darren King! That's sad! He is probably the most innovative incredible drummer I've ever seen. He makes Matt Tong look amateur, and I love Matt Tong! Top would be... Darren King Ian Matthews (played live with Kasabian) Matt Tong Jimmy Chamberlain The first time I saw Darren...

    New U2 iPods

There's got to be a way to "rip" the video so that everyone can see it. I just can't justify that much money just to see God Part II.

    The Fly and Vertigo Tour

Edge is using a wah pedal on the Vertigo version (a Dunlop 535Q to be exact). Listen to Edge's guitar when it comes back in with the main riff on version one on the Chicago DVD. You can hear the wah and watch him using it.

    Rock Kills Kid

I love this cd. I can't stop listening to it. You should also check out Under the Influence of Giants.

    Edge's Gibson Les Paul

Don't tell people that! Now they know what to search for on ebay. :D

    Edge's Live Tunings

Why ask the question if you're going to argue with everything said? Figuring out what tuning they're using is relatively easy. Play the riff, if it sounds sharp, move down a fret, still sharp, move down another fret. Obviously you can't play chords in the first position to try this out.

And the best new band is . . .

I saw them for the second time last night in S.F. and it was better than the last time. This is one of the best live bands I have ever seen. In fact, I think U2 are the only ones better than Mute Math, and I've seen a lot of shows. They're just incredible. It will be a tragedy if they don't...

08th November Oakland - Oakland Arena

Why did the guy say a "heart-shaped walkway"? Did he even go to the show?

    Curtain malfunction at Oakland 2

It was so much better without the flags!

    the edge, reverb??

the spx90 is midi controllable. what do you mean "color" your sound? it's a reverb pedal so it's definitely going to color your sound to some extent, but you won't lose dynamics like you would with the pedal reverbs.

    700th time

No need to clean it up. I don't need the exact number. I just couldn't believe it when I clicked on Pride. So if they have played it 712+ times, how many times has it been played by the band show or no show. Including all rehearsals and studio takes that must just be an ungodly number. How...
