- The Edge. Kidding aside, it was actually his mother, Mrs. Evans. Okay, all kidding aside, I heard 'Streets' on the radio, and it spoke an emotional language that I completely understood -- the lines of communication opened in a fundamental way.

- 1993, ZooTV, Vancouver. I remember leaving early (not knowing about encores), and hearing 'Desire' half way up Robson Street! Next, was Elevation, April 13th 2001, -- one *very* Good Friday. Hearing 'Bad' transfix the entirety of GM Place -- amazing.

- Only through the music, although I was in shouting distance from Bono (too many people swarming for him to really hear me). I yelled to him: "Play 'Unfogettable Fire'!" It was to no avail, as it didn't appear on the set list that night.
