You could probably race a muscle car at the NJ show, too ;) Give the GA line a try (doesn't have to be a U2 show, they're mostly all the same). The closest I've come to a U2 GA line equivalent is a Killers show...maybe because most the fans are U2 obsessed as well! ha!

lol! I can't tell you how many times I've "retired" from GA lines... I'll tell you what: I wish some of the people in the lines would retire! People get very aggressive/defensive in them. Then again, I've met some dear friends in many lines as well... I suppose it's a mixed bag (weather...

Haha! Were you at Vertigo Hawaii? A similar conversation came up at Dukes during the U2 gathering (before everyone left to get in line, because the guy who organized the get together left the party to start the GA line-up himself!)

I think "Hands" just came up casually. I don't remember a direct comparison to it in the thread (maybe it has something to do with the soundtrack subject that everyone's thinking of other tunes?)

I can get behind this approach. It IS a U2 song, so it cannot possibly be a 'bad' song. "Hands" is structurally better, that's for damn sure.

You're right. I shouldn't have responded in such a way, lol! I have never listened to a One Direction song in my life; I stand corrected.

Bono doesn't use falsetto in this song. His technique involves a strained, raised larynx to "sing high" as they say. To define falsetto properly in U2 terms, please refer to the end of "With or Without You" (you know the part he can't/barely/doesn't sing live anymore?) Please understand: I'm...

    I can't disagree here.

"He sings too high, just like on NLOTH and it's ruining the song. No singer in the world has started to sing higher as they got older and for good reason. I fear for the next album." agreed.
