I was there and agree with you completely.. amazing gig but like you I missed a crowded floor of fans. I can only assume that Manchester Arena have put a heavy restriction on the GA space given the recent tragedy, which is understandable.

Point taken lads. I just get frustrated with the level of repeated cynicism pre tour and during tour when in fact they have repeatedly over the last 10 years pulled some real surprises live (subjective to opinion of course) . More so is the occasionally smug and passive aggressive responses...

The swap on the I&E tour in Europe to 'October' and 'Zooropa' wasn't huge but it was brilliantly done and enough of a change without changing what was already a great gig. That's more what I expect rather than anything major, but was completely relevant to the situation in Europe. Excited...

Any changes would have been planned months ago.. rehearsals are just rehearsals, practising. If they play the same gig in Europe, politically, I'll be flabbergasted.

I'd love to see the second section of the show go into a Zoo smash up... thinking of the iconic intro to Zoo Station with the EU flag. No repeating the past but that stage is made for it. But after Blackout and UTTEOTW it may be too much. Fuck Elevation boys let put a Zoo-like spotlight on...

I think Red Flag Day will be in there, in a similar intense spot as Raised By Wolves. Being on the road for such a long time and knowing that this would be the inevitable second half of the I&E tour they have had heaps of time to think about how the arc of the show is going to be and I imagine...
