- My uncle, who is a U2 fan from the start. He has seen them on festivals in the early '80's. One day, I had 'With or Without You' in my head. I liked U2 already and got curious. I went to my uncle's and borrowed his U2 records and CDs. I got hooked!

At the Elevation concert, Bono tried to speak Dutch and started saying: 'Goedenavond, alles goed, klootzak!' (Good evening, everything okay, bastard!) everyone started cheering and then it was quiet for a moment. Then I shouted: 'Lekker ding!!' (Hottie!!) Bono looked in my direction and said: 'Weet ik!' (I know!)
My boyfriend is still very proud that I overscreamed Bono and that I was hit on by a few members of Metallica two years later!
