2. Sometimes I can't sleep at night because my dog is snoring too loud. As adorable as she seems when she's sleeping, I often force her awake to give me some rest. :reject:.

!! :lmao::lmao:

That made me laugh so badly.. haha, that's why I'm happy I have a cat! Don't get me wrong, she SNORES badly, but yea, imagine how that would be if she were a huge dog!

:wink: it's worse enough at home with a dad snoring like a log.

I bought Christina Aguilera's "Best Of" album today and was totally dancing in my living room to her new song "Keeps getting better", I played it five times in a row, I love that song! :dancing:

:lmao:

Hubby claims he doesn't snore at all. If I haven't fallen asleep yet & he's at it, I can't get to sleep. But once I'm out, he can snore all he wants. I will capture him on my camera or cellphone for proof (not to post, just to prove to him :wink: ) I've done it before, I think it's time again :evil:

I feel your pain, ladies. MrPurrl is a room rattler. Once in Las Vegas, he was snoring so loud, I tried to sleep in the bathtub! I have two words for you: ear plugs! :D

I love Christmas. :shrug: I'm really tired of hearing everyone bitching about it, complaining about the shops, the people, the crowds, the expense. I want to tell them all to piss off with their negativity. Really, you don't like it; great, but stop whining like a spoiled bloody child and suck it the hell up. It happens every year. Stop spreading your miserable fucking scroogerisms everywhere. I used to love hating Christmas, but I've changed my mind. I love it. I love everyone being happy, being with family, seeing everyone excited, the lights twinkling, the holiday off.

Congratulations, Kayla! :applaud::hug:

Angela, I love Christmas, too. But I try not to dive into it until after Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving gets lost in the shuffle between Halloween and Christmas. :huh:

I think the love for Christmas isn't gone. The bitching about Christmas I mostly hear of is how it begins in August or September and this notorious campaigning goes on for three to four months. That's most often what drives people nuts about it.

But of course there are also those people that bitch about Christmas because of the day. Most of the people I met that were like that were the usual suspects that just find it cool to bitch about everything that's mainstream.

:lol: At the snoring topics. When I was young, I used to snore very loud, especially when I had a cold and my sinuses were affected. Once we were on winter holiday and my brother shared a room with me. He couldn't sleep and recorded my snoring on tape, it was eerie! :ohmy: Later I had surgery on my nose to fix the problem and since then I haven't heard any complaints about snoring :D

And for Christmas, I have rather neutral feelings. I used to hate ?t for years, especially in the city where people were becoming so aggressive and it was all about spending money and buying stuff. I always go away to the countryside around Christmas, because it's much more Christmas-like there. We don't do much buying and giving for Christmas, only for my little nephew. I don't like the visual overkill that comes with Christmas decoration. But if I don't have to go into a shopping mall on a Saturday in December, it's all fine. :lol:

Oh. Em. Gee. Guys.

Last night my dog didn't sleep in my room... neither did she sleep on my bed so I got the entire bed AND the blanket to myself. :drool:

I slept so well that I woke up wanting more of that peaceful sleep. :yes:

I really like christmas cause people are happy and the good food ofcourse.. but the bitching is annoying, and life as a supermarket employee is a nightmare.
We don't celebrate with presents, but the tree and the dinner it's all great.
But christmas stuff in august? no. That's just wrong!

I've been sick and at home since yesterday. :( I even had fever yesterday which hasn't happened in years. Usually, I recover quite quickly when I'm having a cold, and I've never been away from work longer than three days, with the exception of the surgery I had in summer. But today I woke up with my throat being sore and swollen like hell and everything from my head down hurting. That sucks so much and is really frustrating, because I have a three day long literature seminar on the weekend and simply have to get back on my feet until friday. I hope my voice recovers.

I confess that I am tickled to be paying less than $1 for a litre of petrol, that interest rates have dropped around 3%, and that the government keeps giving me money. I am sorry that the economy is shit and we're all facing downturn just so I can fill up for about $60 as opposed to over $100, which I did a few weeks ago.

:reject:

PS, I use E10 petrol.

I confess that I am a little mad at my fiancee, because he is going to the Eagle's game tomorrow instead of having Thansgiving Dinner with my family.

Gasoline here is $1.55/gallon right now. I don't understand how it could be $4.29/gallon just a few weeks ago, and now this. :angry: But I like it!!

The cheap unleaded gas here (cash price) is still over $2.00 ($2.11). It does seem to go down a few pennies every day. But I agree that it's hard to understand that it was more than double that just a short time ago :angry:

American's complaining about Gas :rolleyes:

It's currently around $0.80 a Litre, here in Canada... That works out to about $3.02 a gallon...

Don't make me give you the numbers in Europe :angry:

how much is a gallon? We paid 1.35 euros for ONE LITRE a few weeks back... it now dropped to 1.17 here too..

I haven't heard any bitching about Chrimbo this year. Everyone is really excited about it. Probably helps that the only people I talk to apat from the Cloggie are the work folk and they're all expats who can't wait to go home and see their family. :heart:
