"Sex, Death and Money, Sonny, that is why we all are gonna FRY!!"
ALICE frikkin' COOPER!!!!!!! "Triggerman" is a pretty cool tune by the Coop. 'Dragontown' is altogether an interesting take on moral-decay & some of it is eery in that it refers to our current situation..written long before 9/11/01. Anyway, I saw Alice Friday night, & he ROCKS(!) as usual. He is rivaling U2 when it comes to incorporating sex & Christianity into his lyrics. oh, yeah, I got to meet Eric Singer after the show. (yeeehaa) Any other Cooper fans out there?? |
"S Tape"------is that "Scotch" Tape???? https://forum.u2wdd.org/u2feedback/smile.gif

"...but there is one thing...I really hate to repeat myself, but, Nothing's Free.."
Can you say MacPhisto??? Who plays the role of Satan better, Alice or Bono? |
I vote for Alice. "The Last Temptation Of Alice Cooper" should be made into a movie and be required viewing for anyone who doesn't believe in spiritual warfare! 3 Alice Cooper fans, all in the same U2 forum. What will happen next?
|
Yeah, Last Temptation (of Alice Cooper) was pretty amazing in that realm. That's the album that started my fanaticism for Alice. I went & bought the Boxed Set, which is awesome. I noticed that Bono is quoted in the liner notes as saying "Hello, Hooray!" was the first 45-single that he ever had. I also read in several places that Bob Dylan was a big Cooper fan.
I can't wait to hear "Alice's Deadly Seven", as he continues to use the Alice character to illustrate moral dilemma. He just frikkin' rocks, especially live. I also think that the new song, "Every Woman Has a Name", is one of the best pro-femme songs I've ever heard. So good to hear from another fan, 80's!! |
