U2 Fans - more politically aware than most rock fans? If so why?
I wonder what people think about this - Earlier U2 stuff is perhaps more overtly political, but as U2 have come to be a bigger band Bono has helped keep a political angle to the band, despite less overtly political music being made.
How much has Bono's recent work helped to politicise (particularly newer) U2 fans? Its hard to measure, but my experience is that U2 fans are that bit more interested in politics. DO you agree?
If so it goes to show that musicians can make a difference - no matter what cynics may say.
