My With or Without You Cover
 

I was inspired by all this talk of "shimmer" to try a cover of With or Without You.

I'm playing along with the backing track from the U2 patch archive.

For the shimmer part I used a modified version of the "Space Station" patch on Guitar Rig 2 and my E-bow. I made a mistake with the E-bow at the beginning, but I had to do so many takes that I decided to just leave it as is for now.

For the lead guitar I'm using my POD XT Live with the standard AC30-TB kind of settings. The solo is from the Zoo TV Washington DC show.
