It's Official: Who in the blue hell wants sun burn?

I have it on my face, neck, shoulders and arms. I hate the sun. I piss on the sun.

DrTeeth 06-11-2005 04:22 PM

You'd burn your todger doing that. :|

Sevikins 06-11-2005 05:36 PM

Without the sun we'd all freeze to death.

Have you never watched The Day After Tomorrow?

 and talk about massive crop failure!

 day after tomorrow  one of the most hilarious movies I've ever seen - my husband was laughing so hard he had to leave the theatre!

Sevikins 06-11-2005 06:04 PM

Lol, it was a tad absurd at times. I mean, c'mon! How can a stupid wooden door keep out the deep freeze?

u2girlcj 06-11-2005 06:19 PM

The wolves! Nothing can beat the computer generated wolves who can somehow scale the side of a tanker ship in -50 degree weather to get in and chase people!!

When you saw those wolves at the zoo early on, you just knew they'd be trouble, didn't you?!

Sevikins 06-11-2005 06:21 PM

LOL, I wasn't even expecting that, and now that you bring it up... I didn't even realize that at all... good one! That movie's got so many flaws in it.

how do you figure

Sun does awful things to skin. I used to love getting a bit of colour, now I'm absolutely paranoid about having SPF 70 on at all times.

MissMaCo 06-12-2005 09:37 AM

I love sun

until my head explodes :|

freckles are back in summer :hyper:

:eyebrow:

Sevikins 06-12-2005 11:54 AM

So you get freckles in the sun? I thought one was born with them. Oopie.

Laura M 06-12-2005 11:59 AM

i can't cope with the "hot" summers here so i am worried about how i will survive in france/ spain this year and next year

i was encouraged greatly by my spanish friend when i asked about how hot it gets there - "the sun heat? you cannot have an option but to not escape it in spain, you will bake like a roasted lamb"

verte76 06-12-2005 12:22 PM

I love the sun but I hate sunburn.

financeguy 06-12-2005 12:24 PM

On a serious note, sunscreen is a must for anyone with fair skin. If you have fair skin and go out in the sun for extended periods without sunscreen you should wise up.

nbcrusader 06-13-2005 12:36 PM

I wonder when we will figure out that lotions with SPF over 6 are harmful to our skin.

Still, I've noticed on the East Coast a higher propensity to proudly wear a sunburn as a sign of a vacation.
