the resorts would be crazy to let this happen leading into a fall/winter season that includes Sphere opening, the F1 race and concludes with the Super Bowl.

and the union knows this. they'll get it done.

apparently the september date is just the day to authorize a strike - then the union would have to give notice on a date.

i'm going to go out on a limb and say that the union picks a day right before the F1 races get started as their strike date...
