Anyone attending this show? I’m flying solo in GA. Maybe I’ll run into a fellow Blue Crack addict? I have never even been to CT.

GA line as of 930 AM

YBOR... Will be in the house!!! I have seats for this one... Repping my home state 2.. This will continue my streak of not missing a Connecticut show since The War Tour. Another Stat: Last Time U2 played Connecticut 12/7/05!

I'm in Section 106 Row A.... Seats 13,14 and 15 Miss YBOR and friend will be there... Stop By any of you .... I've only met a scarce few of INTERLANDERS!

So ... how the hell are they playing a casino, anyway?

Is this some weird casino that somehow doesn't have the "LOL THEY'RE PLAYING CASINOS NOW" connotation?

I'm honestly surprised I haven't heard a lot of jokes about that.

It’s a legitimate arena attached to the casino. This is definitely a first for me though, being able to line up for GA in what looks like a shopping mall in the air conditioning.

would give my left arm to be there tonight. Mohegan is fantastic (love the casino and restaurants) and there isn't a bad seat in the house ... I've seen a bunch of folks there. Enjoy!! to everyone attending tonight ... I hope you get something just a bit different to end the NA tour!

It's a great arena for concerts. I saw Bruce there from a seat pretty far up but close to the stage. It was still a great view.

I'd love to be there too.

Yeah its a 10,000 seat arena, will be intimate for U2, but they get all kinds of major tours to stop there.
I've seen Van Halen (on 2 separate tours), Ozzy with Rob Zombie and Motley Crue there and seeing Smashing Pumpkins there on the 29th.

Plus you can gamble before and after the show, or in Bono's case hit up the buffet.

There were a few after it was first announced, but this is akin to playing the old MGM Grand, not a sleepy old lounge.

Plus the idea of the old act playing the casino is very antiquated. The acts that play casinos now make major bank.

Britney Spears residency at Planet Hollywood brought in 140 million.

If they don't have Penn and Teller open up for them, they're doing it wrong.

I don't know why I didn't think of the Vegas MGM ... especially since I saw U2 there in 2005.

DOY.

I read on twitter the capacity for tonight was only 7,500 due to the stage. They removed seats that would normally be filled. I feel lucky to have been able to see them in such an intimate setup.

So, not sure what other Interlander's thought about this show but for me it was so strange on so many levels. The only other show I've seen there was Springsteen show back in 2014. The intimacy of this small place plus his setlist that night was terrific. So I have to admit I was thinking this could be a great show. Walking into a casino and seeing all of the old's spending their hard-earned savings and inheritances while going to a show was surreal. After a fantastic apizza from Pepe's (still not as good as the original restaurant on Wosster Street, New Haven). We ordered an Abeets, with Moots, Sauce and Sausage and the Spanish waitress didn't get the reference. So on to the show..... When we got to our seats we were first row of second level right on center ice, it was spectacular as we could see everything unhindered. The stage, runway and "e" stage seemed to be crammed into the building (remember what we said the stage looked like? HAAA!) The band seemed to be really into it, more than the MSG and TD Bank shows. The crowd was abysmal, wasn't like the usual U2 sing-a-long crowd. The other thing that kind of laid an egg was the set list, this really could have been a special concert in a special place but for me it just fell short.

You didn't happen to see Paul McGuinness at one of the slots did you?

I did see McGuinne$$ in there but the more embarrassing thing was finding out they closed the all you can eat buffet that day cuz he and Bono demolished it before the show.

I was thinking in the part that Bono is walking down the catwalk and he goes by the Ice Cream truck I bet he wants to try and stop it.
