Since seeing the STL show Friday night, I keep thinking of ways the band could make some better cohesion coming out of the ‘Hold me thrill me’ video. I think the narrative of the band falling from grace and ‘to be continued’ as the screen says that a run of Vertigo>The Fly>Desire would be a great energetic transition into the snarky Macphisto then try American Soul >Acrobat>Wild Horses. Save Elevation for early or later

I say American soul after Desire cus I think they’d sound great back-to-back plus thematically Desire introduces the hypocrisies that American Soul hits on. I just don’t like AS buddied up with ‘Get out of your own way’. I understand the whole Kendrick Lamar thing but GOOYOW feels like it would do well early in the Beautiful Day spot. Just an opinion

The streams all crashed right before Acrobat, but they came back just in time!
And now I'm going to bed. This really is an awesome show. I missed most of the visuals in Tulsa because I was too close to see the screen (that's a First World Problem! ) so I really enjoyed seeing the streams tonight from people farther away. It's amazing!

I reeeeeally wish they weren't doing Best Thing acoustic again.

It's pretty obvious they can't play the way the really want to. The performance on Fallon was a bit of a mess and of course the BBC thing ended up being acoustic.

I reckon they need to shift the set list around a bit. Play Desire, play SATS then bring in Please which can transition into Acrobat with a bit of Macphisto. Maybe shift The Best Thing up after Vertigo? It just doesn't work where it is now.
