Ax, this *is* the most static tour they've ever done, right?

Hard to quantify really... but yeah this is a very static start to a tour, comparable to the start of ZooTV and Popmart.

JT30 was pretty ridiculously static too but there were greater changes to the order in those first couple of weeks.

You know, for as much as I was dreading this part of the show (Elevation, Vertigo), it turned out to be one of the highlights of the show for me.

It's just all of these shows with "identical" setlists (when the only change is a dropped song, I'm going to go ahead and count that as identical).

I would love a really good picture of Bono in that circus ring looking screen playing the harmonica, if anyone's come across one.

 Very in the moment.

Macphisto has had a couple of decent moments, but... I'm still not on board.

I quite enjoyed night one, with the Sympathy for the Devil stuff and the comments about Trump/Stormy Weather.

But I actually was super enamored with night 2 and the rant he went on. It might not have been as eloquent as back in the day, but it made me feel like I was seeing something from an era I missed out on, and that was really cool.

Ahhh, Bono heard my call from Shuttlecock to acknowledge at least one of his sons, only to do so by saying he missed his graduation today .

Great photos, trevgreg!
